Has there been a single historical example of an armed populace defeating an occupying force without being supplied/organized/trained/militarily aided by a foreign power?

There are numerous ongoing conflicts that never ended.
The Moro conflict comes to mind. Some of them are funded by isis but some have no affiliation and still fight with knives.

It's much less a matter of being able to do so without foreign help, and more of foreign help almost always being available anyway and refusing it is usually dumb.

AMERICA

Which one?

The whole point of the populace being armed is logistics. A sympathetic armed populace can be excellent support for a fledgling rebel force, or if the rebel force is tyrannical and little more than bandits, the populace can be quite a hindrance for them.

That's not even what happened. The US accomplished their primary onjective and then pushed for more because they were winning, then China got scared and joined in and we moved back to the old border because we didn't really want to fight China. The US still kicked Nork ass, and still got the primary objective done. The Norks were in no way standing up to us alone.
>>
>>29904803
Weren't the Norks using Soviet weapons to begin with?
>>
>>29904815
Yes, but I'm not sure if it counts as foreign aid and not just purchase.
>>
>>29904803
Where are you getting this "Primary objective" from

The Lam Sơn uprising- Vietnam threw out the Ming dynasty.

Modern
They received some minor support from outside, but the Yugoslavs did the heavy lifting driving the Axis from out of their country.

The Algerian war- the Algerians threw out the French. Again, there was minimal support from outside (mainly the leaders hiding in Cairo from time to time), but the main work was internal.
