How light is too light for an aluminum AR-15 handguard?
Making AR's lighter is a big trend, but when do these weight savings result in a poorer functioning, less durable gun? Aren't these light handguards prone to deformation?

Unless a bent FF handguard is literally bent so badly so as to put pressure on the barrel it won't affect functionality in any way.
Unless it has literally bent at the barrel nut and instead of just breaking and is thin enough to have bent but somehow strong enough to bend the barrel extension, which won't happen.
