As others said, it was popular but not so much any more. Since Obama placed import restrictions on Russia, the price of the firearm and spam cans had gone up dramatically. It's no longer cheap af to shoot.
There's not much reason to get a mosin anymore if you're looking for a cheap bolt action in my opinion. Mausers can be had for $250, and they're objectively a superior rifle in nearly every way.

Most ammo came from Ukraine and a few other Eastern Eruopean countries. Ukraine is at war obviously so they aren't releasing ammo unless it's being shot at commies. Other former pact nations aren't giving up their ammo stock because they see the complete inaction of the US government. Better keep that ammo on hand when Russia knocks on your door. I'm surprised we get as much ammo as we do desu.

When shooting sometimes the rounds dont come up high enough to chamber properly, and after firing they dont flip all the time, sometimes if you work da bolt quik it will, but if your just shooting normal they dont extract they just stay on the face of the bolt or plop out but just fall into the loading area.
So what the fuck? I know its got sticky bolt, but is this shit an ejector, extractor, magazine spring? What else could it be, not trying to spend a shit ton on a 120 rifle trying to get it shooting butter, but want it to function how its supposed to.
