There's a Remington model 10 at a shop near me going for about $239.
Is that a good deal? I'm not too familiar with it.

I hear they are complicated as shit. But 239 is a good deal

If it's in good shape, hell yes it is.

Fair price, but be aware they are a rather complex action with scant parts availability.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
I have one of these. Very heavy but in my opinion very nice. Prefer it and it's long barrel over my Ithaca Model 37 for trap. Unbelievable unwieldy for HD. Make sure you cycle a full magazine of snap caps through it. If it doesn't feed right don't bother, no one will be able to fix it.

Never heard a good thing about the mechanism and all that, but that is damn good price for it. Do a little research about it and see if it would be good for whatever you use a shotgun for.

Yeah,okay then.

Can't blame him. It's been a while since your trip has popped up.
Do you still have that STG?

As long as it's tight and mechanically complete and functional it wouldn't be a bad shotgun. The Model 10 is incredibly complex compared to its counterparts and can go out of 'time' so to speak and parts are basically nonexistent. Although if it's barrel is borked you could shorten it and make a clone of the most distinctive trench gun of the era.
Model 10 can be - accidentally- reassembled in a manner that prevents the gun from firing or being disassembled again.
