I was an 0311 and my unit definitely didn't do coins. Some guys got coins from the Commandant when he stopped by our FOB in Iraq.

I have a shit ton of coins from the fire service. The only one that counts is the one I personally worked for in my academy. It will go in the shadow box one day with all my patches and badge. I mean I don't expect other people to give a shit, but when I am an old fart and broken it will be nice to reminisce on my career across 3 states with 5 agencies.
