Confirmed for not knowing a single fucking thing about them. The 369th was one of the standout units of the AEF. It was highly decorated, highly regarded by the Allies, and it was comprised almost entirely of black men. Do you know how important to race relations in the US they were?

THEY were the trailblazers that proved that black men could be soldiers in the US Army just as well as whites, and they proved it by being one of the most units in the entire AEF. They did it all by upholding the ideals of the United States Army to the letter. If you are a true military historian, you'd be excited as fuck that they're finally getting their due.

Shouldn't even include AEF, the war started on the 28th of July 1914 and finished on the 11th of November 1918.
The AEF did not participate in front line work until late October 1917 and had deployed 2 million troops by the 11th of November armistice. With the British empire having a total force of nearly 9 million and the French around 8.5 million with them making up the vast majority of the casualties you start to realize why Europeans do not take kindly to American boasts of how they won the war.
In terms of men who died fighting the Australians contributed more then the Americans, with Australian fatalities at 53,560 in comparison to the Americans 53,402.

Its a real game of patience at times as well, waiting for literally hours in an excellent ambush position with a few mates equipped with an M107 a couple of M240s to wreak half a dozens cunts shit is super satisfying.
In my experience as well no one ever seems to expect the M203 in that game, had pricks providing good suppressing fire on my position as they advanced along a road using building for cover, pop out from a different window and M203 and its all over. They were pretty confused what exactly had happened as well lol.
