ID4 was my fucking favorite movie was a kid, watched the VHS so much it eventually broke and my parents wouldn't buy a new one.
It's what got me into military stuff. Had so many toy planes as a kid that Dad made a Nimitz-class out of plywood for me to put them in. Unfortunately I have bad eyes and a heart condition, so no jet piloting for me. Became a Historian instead.
