I don't know what anime you've been watching recently, but this is not the environment an LoGH property should be released into. Maybe a new OVA with Gundam Unicorn/Thunderbolt funding per episode and blood-signed assurances that the writers are up to the task would cut it, but we live in the era of razor thin profit margins and entire series' being produced as vanity projects for pop stars.
LoGH is the best thing to come out of that period in anime. It's best to let it rest.
