I was never a Rand supporter. I liked Ron Paul in 2012 but I couldn't vote then anyway so it was irrelevant and I've learned something since then that I think a lot of us don't understand. If Hillary manages to snag all 19 (yes, 19) states that have gone Democrat in the last six presidential elections, she would only need Florida to get to 271. Now, those 19 include Michigan and Pennsylvania, where Trump could possibly be competitive and turn out blue-collar, lower-information white voters who are angry about outsourcing and those dern Mexicans, but we're ignoring states that are trending blue recently, like NM, CO, IA, VA, NV. So not only would Trump have to capture Florida, he would also have capture ALL five of those "battleground" states that are actually leaning heavily blue. Oh, and he would also need Ohio. All while not putting solid or tilting red states into play (GA, TX, IN).
If Trump can turn a rust-belt state like Pennsylvania or Michigan, then a path to victory is a little more plausible, but still depends on him capturing Florida and other states with a large Hispanic population.
What's going to happen is that the few remaining adults in the GOP are going to batten down the hatches and focus on keeping the House. Nobody from the GOP will endorse Hillary, but there will be a ton of major, prominent "non-endorsements" of Trump with a plea to get out the vote for down-ticket elections anyway. "You don't have to vote for Trump, but show up to keep the Democrats from retaking the House."
