was shooting poly tip ammo and getting the can and barrel way too hot.
was shooting at 3 targets left to right and notice after i ran out of ammo that only the left(1st engaged)target had keyholing and strage impacts.
my theory is that, when i finish shooting the third target, the round was in the hot chamber long enough to begin to melt and that caused it to destabilize and hit the can.
i noticed a nick on the endcap but didn't see any real issues, a few months later i was randomly looking through the can and that's when i actually saw that the baffles were damaged.

They will. The little hooks will work fine too, with a heavy gong like your pic. I'm not gonna say "get little ones" because it'll save you $5, but I don't really see a reason for the big ones unless the little ones are square stock instead of round stock. My Home Depot and Lowes both switched to square stock shepherd's hooks, which are too big to fit in the holes in my 6" gongs. Good thing I bought a bunch last year.

I want an M4gery, and right now I'm looking at either making one out of a PSA premium kit and then a stripped lower, or getting the Windham Weaponry MPC, the MPC ends up being $30 more which is negligible, but I think I'd like their lifetime warranty.
