With how thick the barrel looks I thought "Oh, cool. It's integrally suppressed."

I guess it isn't.
>>
>>29829975
Yeah, cant have those down-under

Jesus Christ.
>>
>>29829843
and it looks fucking ugly
>>
>>29830497
Such is the price because of the high cost of manufacturing anything in Aus
>>
>>29829843
>pump wraps around the whole gun

Pretty interesting, it's like some kind of space gun.
>>
>>29829843
Looks like you're jacking it off. Australian banter knows no bounds.
>>
>>29830497
>hurr why is a gun built from scratch in australia so expensive?
>>
>>29829982

Really?

I thought that wasn't an issue there like it is here in the US with our taxstamps.
>>
>>29831677
No. Suppressors are extra-super-naughty here.
Though one state supposedly has made it a little easier to get but as far as I know no recreational shooter has been approved for one yet.
>>
Asstralia is fucking shit. It's like a large, hillbilly, island version of San Francisco.
>>
I ordered one kek
>>
>>29831858
I sort of thought about it (NSW), but most of the shit I use tends to be a bit boomy and the suppressor wouldn't do shit.
>>
>>29831858
All they have done is put the option on the form, I doubt anyone will get approved.

>>29829975
AUS is super strict on suppressors, more then nearly any other country.

Its the Britfag and New Zealanders who have easy access to cans.

I am wondering if it is using 10/22 type barrels as well.

This is the saddest thing I've seen all day, sorry Australia.
>>
>>29832736
No, it's 1100 USD.
>>
>>29832625
>>29832714
Its not reinventing the wheel, its just remaking a style of rifle that hasn't been in production for some time now.

There are no current pump action .22s with detachable magazines on the market. The Sportco 90A is the best you can get and they are all very old now.

Tube mags are slow as fuck to reload and are prone it issues as well, not least of all being that they like to hold rounds hidden in the mag then produce them at a later time.

I remember once using an old pump .22 at the range, loaded it up, fired a bunch, worked action went click. Thought okay must be empty, checked, no round in chamber, none on loading gate or visible in the tube.

Worked the action a few more times and voila another .22lr appeared.
>>
>$1100 for a pump-action .22

Meanwhile you can also get a Ruger 10/22 plus accessories for a fraction of the price if you're not fucking retarded.
>>
>>29829843

2nd for ugliest gun made in australia 2016.
>>
>>29832797
Collectors License yeah?
>>
>>29832797
Not in Australia you cant, well legally at least lol.

All the parts to build a 10/22 can be illegally imported for less then $200 or so and you can 3d print a receiver. But thats not the point as we don't break the law.
>>
>>29832848

How is a 10/22 collectible?
>>
>>29832860
I'm Vic. You can get Cat C on a collectors license. Mate has an 870. Needs to be stored with a trigger lock and can only be used at approved collector club shoots
>>
>>29832738
>literally has a different operation system and reciever design, barrel, and stock.
the only thing that is the same is the caliber, and the size of the hole for the mags.
>>
>>29832625
and looks 100000000000000000000x better
>>
>>29832860
As part of a collection of semi-automatic .22lrs thus being a part of a thematic collection.

Means you need a nylon 66, a AR7 amongst others as well.

I really need to get my ass into gear and get my collectors license.

Thinking about getting a Cat M for crossbows as well for use on my own property, except crossbows are fucking expensive.

>Writing the letter for proof of land to shoot on would be amusing, something like I anon owner of land at anonsiville with area of 30 acres provide myself anon with written permission to shoot crossbows on this land whenever the hell anon feels like it.

>Yours,

>>29831677
Thats New Zealand, the uncucked anglo cousin.
>>
>>29832625
i want a sawn off version of that
>>
>>29833114
Drive into the Northern Territory and buy a crossbow. They're not too expensive and they're not regulated there.

Then either register it or lose on your boat trip back.
>>
>>29829903
Does it come in any other colour than Absolutely Disgusting?
>>
>>29832714
Considering the original Australians didn't even get to inventing the wheel, it's pretty big.

>>29829843
Does anyone else not get any sound on this?
>>
>>29833568
there will be a tactical version, that's the prototype being shown
>>
its confirmed to be now under 1.5k
>>
>>29831677
That's Britain and NZ. They make it harder to get a gun in the first place, but easier to suppress once you're approved.

Canada and Australia on the other hand think they're "super evil james bond fwip fwip fwip baby killers"
