Are these the best AR mags?
>>29814773
Not for me. I've had one break after dropping it to the ground during a reload. PMAGS have been good and so have some GI mags.
>>29814773
General consensus is that they're pretty great. The only one I have doesn't like to work in my dad's AR, but works fine in all my other lowers. I might buy another one to try eventually
>>29814773
The best? Meh, probably tied with pmags.
You gots a problem with metal mags?
20 round steel.

>>29814773
They have steel feed lips and they come transparent. So yes.
But to be honest, I don't like pmags that much.
>>29814834
>pmags

pmags for for tactikids that don't know Lancers are the GOAT
>>29815340
Here's your reply.
Deploy more.
Lancers > Pmags > GI mags
Any other brands don't matter.
>>29814773
Yes they are the best of both worlds.
Pmags polymer feed lips are brittle as fuck
>>29815488
Not to mention they flex like a Noveske is walking by.
Confession time: I cannot tell any functional difference between Lancers, PMags, or GIs. They all do that thing where they push bullets up for the bolt to chamber a round.
I alternate pmags and brownells gi mags
>>29815535
The differences are splitting hairs, everyone knows that.
Pmag feedlips can flex a little. Lancers are expensive. GI mags make a lot of noise. But they all do the same damn thing.
>>29814834
I've had issues with my Pmags seating in the magwell. I'll slap it in and the mag falls out when I go to charge it.
>>29815557
>Lancers are expensive.
I will never get this meme. They're literally $4 more than pmags and you can usually find them on sale for $13
>>29815535
Lancers are stronger than pmags
>>29815610
You realize that's 40-50% more per mag, right?
>>29814773
I have the older style of Lancer and they are not as good as pmags.
The reason I believe pmags are the best is the follower had zero tilt of any kind, is smooth and the springs are good. I also use and like the dust cover as I store my mags loaded and it both deals them and takes pressure off the feed lips.
Haven't used the newer style Lancers though.

ERmAGERD NO U DoN'T U IODRT NO ONE lOADS ON A ClOSED BOLT!!!!! WHAT AU RETARD
>>29815624
You sound Jewish
>>29815836
No, I'd sound Jewish if I said something like "And that concludes our tribute to Mr. Kalashnikov, whose legacy will live forever. THAT IS, UNTIL MY HEBREW HAMMER HERE SHITS ALL OVER IT AWWW YEEEEAH BUY A TAVOR GOYS!"
Bakelite.
>>29815603
With a full mag on a closed bolt this happens with all my mags
Quality USGI > Lancer > PMag > Tapco > Thermold > Hexmag > Tango Down > Shit USGI > Promag
This is not an opinion.
>>29815488
>brittle
>>29815502
>flex
Learn2materials
You can't have both
Which piece of plastic with a metal spring is the best piece of plastic with a metal spring
>>29815877
The spine is prone to cracking. The lips themselves are prone to flexing.
>>29815557
Not to mention you can pull up posts about any of them being heaps or shit or goat. The end of the day the big difference is what you can find for cheap and what photographs better.
>>29815901
buy cheap stack deep etc.
Pmag waffling a shit aesthetics tho.
Are hexmags actually bad?
>>29814773
I use pmags and hexmags
>>29815973
Thank you for proving why hexmags are garbage
>>29814806
What part broke?
>>29815624
>>29815849
No, that other anon's right.
You're a fucking kike.
>>29815877
I guess that's the magic of Magpul, because they do both. They crack and bend.
It's either magic or you're not a chemist.

Do you even own a gun? Someone who gets their pussy in a sandpit at such a thing is bound to be an Australian.

So when are you giving up your guns? I know there are a ton of bronies + furries that own guns too.
>>29816442
What does this have to do with bronies and furries?

ETS mags GOAT, magpul watch out, ETS's glorious polymers coming through.
>>29816328
I never said that lancer Mags weren't good, just that they weren't in the video anon posted. here this is part of an extended torture test series that does a good job of narrowing down mags.

concept art for the next Zootopia movie. seems they are going for a Se7en/ True Detective vibe
>>29816668
That music vid was a ride.
the plastic feels a lot more brittle than a pmag but they do have steel feed lips. id probably just stick with pmags if i have to choose just one today
>>29816505
Interesting vid. I actually have two ETS mags coming in the mail so this is a good video to compare to my own tests to soon.
>>29814773
I haven't had any problems with mine and I've used them A LOT.
The metal GI mags also work pretty well. But seriously the Lancers are tip top.
Usgi 20rd with magpul follower.
Lancer 20 mags are pretty aesthetic
I bought 3 of them for my first AR-15 build I'm about to complete, but I didn't buy any of the 30 rounders. I bought 5 Pmag Gen 3 30 rounders, 3 Lancer smoke 20 round mags, and 1 Pmag Gen 3 10 round mag.
>>29814773
brownells usgi mags with the tan follower
>not having 30 USGI magazines loaded with XM193
I use poly mags to differentiate different ammo types. Shit all works the same for me, with the exception that unloading aluminum mags is a fucking bitch.
>>29817897
Love the lancer 20s
