Not for me. I've had one break after dropping it to the ground during a reload. PMAGS have been good and so have some GI mags.

General consensus is that they're pretty great. The only one I have doesn't like to work in my dad's AR, but works fine in all my other lowers. I might buy another one to try eventually

Confession time: I cannot tell any functional difference between Lancers, PMags, or GIs. They all do that thing where they push bullets up for the bolt to chamber a round.

Pmag feedlips can flex a little. Lancers are expensive. GI mags make a lot of noise. But they all do the same damn thing.

I have the older style of Lancer and they are not as good as pmags.
The reason I believe pmags are the best is the follower had zero tilt of any kind, is smooth and the springs are good. I also use and like the dust cover as I store my mags loaded and it both deals them and takes pressure off the feed lips.
Haven't used the newer style Lancers though.

The metal GI mags also work pretty well. But seriously the Lancers are tip top.

I bought 3 of them for my first AR-15 build I'm about to complete, but I didn't buy any of the 30 rounders. I bought 5 Pmag Gen 3 30 rounders, 3 Lancer smoke 20 round mags, and 1 Pmag Gen 3 10 round mag.
