The MCX comes sorta almost kind of close to that. It uses an Ar18 dual spring assembly and can get slapped on ar15 lowers. Th BCG is literally a chopped in half ar15 carrier tho

As long as it has something to combat the offset impulse from a gas piston, it sounds good to me. AR-18 esque guide rails would go a long way to preventing carrier tilt.

I can't find any information about the magazines for the new G38 being adopted by German armed forces. OPs pic looks like it could be a G36 magazine in the magwell. So does the new service rifle take STANAG or G36 mags to make it more logistically sound?

They're H&K 416/AR-15 only. Not G36 compatible unless it has the STANAG mag well.
