The kick on them isn't terrible, but it certainly is noticable after putting 50+ rounds through it in a single sitting. You'll feel like you were lifting weights in the morning.

I had a 91/59 and the first time I took it out I was only able to put around 80 rounds through it before calling it quits for the day. My shoulder had bruised and was sore for about a week. Should have never sold that rifle...
