No personal experience but I've read a bunch of reviews. Supposedly light and comfortable but not especially durable. Probably fine for casual use, I don't think I'd go to war with them unless you have a few pairs of backups.

You have flat feet and are knock-kneed, like me. Never tuck your pants into your boots again and make sure you buy boot cut style Levi's (527) that are one size too long to compensate for how fucked your feet and knees look. NEVER wear tapered jeans, you will never look right in them. Start lifting with any 5x5 routine, you don't have to get big (though don't we all want to?) So you'll actually start to look masculine. Don't buy lighter blue, always go dark, and you'll be OK.

For work I'm wearing black Oakley Light Assaults.
They feel almost identical to my Nike Frees. But I wouldn't recommend them for any actual labor. After 1yr of just walking the sole is beginning to separate, if I wore these on deployment they would be roasted in <60days.

I wear three kinds of boots in my daily service.
The first pair is the military issued Marching Boot 90.
Its heavy and does not offer much breathing.
Altho its almost 100% waterproof with the right shoewax.
If you plan on marching through wet areas this is the boot for you.

The 2nd pair is the Meindl R.I.B Leicht.
It got multiple setups due to the GoreTex sock and different soles.
The GoreTex sock makes the boot aweful for marching long distances but you will still be dry when you get there. Without the GoreTex sock it does not offer much protection from water, one step in the wrong direction and you could be soaking.
Its a very confortable boot without the GoreTex Sock and i use it for marching long distances on roads and during the summer.

The third pair is the Bates Tactical Sport Side 8" Zip boot.
I bought these on my visit to the US last year.
They weigh almost nothing and you feel like you are wearing athletic shoes.
The zip offers quick sockchange during long hikes. They offer no waterprotection whatsoever but they are quick to dry since they dont have GoreTex. I use these during the summer and during MOUT.

I've had mine for 2 years now and I will never buy another brand of boot. They fit my feet perfectly and they're as light as a set of day hikers. The upper part is just stiff enough to provide ankle protection, but not so stiff it chaffs. They offer good support for medium size loads (40-70lbs) and they have excellent traction.
The only complaints I have is is bunches up slightly when you're hiking down really steep inclines and the waterproofing needs to be reapplied more often than it should.
Other than that thy're dream boots for me
