Well /k/ I'm turning 21 soon, so it's time for me to buy my own handgun.
I've narrowed down my choices to pic related. I live in New Orleans so I'm interested in concealed carry but I also can't carry at school, which is where I am most of the time. My gun will probably live in my car and under my pillow (very frequent robberies in the area I'm moving to).

I have an lcp and a dildo. Cc both daily. Lcp is actually not a bad plinking toy if you get used to it and have private land to shoot it on. Fuck taking it to the range thoygh. I'm 500 rounds in, only one ftf
Get the Ruger. You would be able to carry ever where comfortably. If you want something bigger get a S&W M&P Shield.

out of those, I'd get the RAMI but that's because I'm a fan boy and also because it's a good size and 9mm. I'm not a fan of revolvers and mouse guns. I carried a p238 for a while and I hated shooting it even though i could conceal it anywhere.
I carry an XD9 subcompact. I like it. It's pretty dang accurate for a subcompact and not too big. I am not huge either so I need something small. I may get a P-01 though because fanboy, even though it's a compact and not a subcompact.

My dad has two of them actually, he's only ever fired one magazine through one of them because he has pretty bad arthritis. He's had me put about 25 rounds through each of them twice just to make sure they work. I love how small the gun is but I fucking hate the way it shoots.

The RAMI is the best choice, because it can double as CC and HD.
DO NOT get the .40 version, however. Multiple reports of the gun having issues in that caliber.
