While somewhat uncommon it's not exactly rare so whatever.
>>
>>29787062
How is a usas 12 not "rare" in a country where no one can legally own one, at best a collector could get one of he had a good way of justifying it in a collection.
>>
B-But I thought they made those guns illegal!
>>
>It can fire 60 rounds before needing to reload.

>"Those weapons are not seized from a Johnny-come-lately, they are taken from the hands of criminals who are prepared to use them, sell them, and are used for intimidation purposes for home invasions," Detective Superintendent Niland said.

I'm sure if legal gun owners were restricted further these illegal guns that they could never own would cease to exist in the hands of criminals.

My logic is flawless, prove me wrong.
>>
>>29787092
That's like saying automatic AKs are rare because you can't own them in most countries.
>>
>>29787062
>not exactly rare
How is it not rare? Only a few articles ever made it stateside. Of the US produced models, less than 20 WM12s were made before it was shitcanned and the DNG clone sold less than 50 and required a DD stamp. Its undeniably rare, even in the US where it was briefly available to civilians. It was never even available in Aus under any circumstances.
>>
>>29787062
But you dont own any guns so whatever
>>
>>29787139
Thats a shit comparison and you know it, since the USAS 12 is only used by a few SE Asian police forces and nobody else.
>>
>>29787157
Its featured in most of his Vidya titles, like the WA2000. Big deal
>>
>>29786932
More importantly, who the fuck pays $20 for a dose of GHB
>>
>>29787123
it's part of the broken circle logic
>legal gun owners don't own these guns
>this means only criminals use them
>this means we should keep them banned to prevent criminals from getting their hands on them
>>
>>29787139
A gun that has never been legally imported into a country would be considered fucking rare, you would have to be doing aome pretty crazy mental gymnastics to say otherwise.

If an rpg7 was found hiding in an Aussie closet I'd call it oretty fucking rare despite rpg's being common as fuck and existing in mass quantities in Russia and the middle east, hell I'd even call it rare for them to be found in any US collection

>>
>>29787308
I don't want that poor USAS to be in the arms of an angel, I want it to be in the arms of me.
>>
>>29787092
>where no one can legally own one
You sure as shit can own one on a Cat D with AG permits.
>>
>>29786932
>USAS 12
Wait, is this a full auto, 60 round, 12 gauge shotgun?
Dove season would never be the same...how much #8 shot could you spray with that thing...
>>
>>29787634
Doesn't it have to be deactivated tho?
>>
I'm strongly suspecting that it's actually an Airsoft replica. Still illegal, and probably could actually fire 60 round sin one go that way.
>>
>>29786979
Does he have a chance in hell of getting back in after the double dissolution?
>>
>>29787683
No such thing. The reason the airshit AA12 that came out this year was such a big deal for airshitters is because there's been nothing like it before.
>>
>>29787683
There are no airsoft usas 12's. There's the AA12 though that was released last year.
>>
>>29787693

>>
>>29787634
Yeah I'm sure this drug dealer had a Cat D licence with AG permits.
>>

>Airsoft replica. Still illegal
What fresh hell is this
>>
So glad I had a chance to shoot one considering I'm a nogunz. Probably won't get another chance
>>
>>29787092
There are a few of these around in AUS legally as well. I've seen one on a cat C licence with 5 round mags which isn't that hard for a lot of average joes to get.......
>>
>>29787671
Hunting ammo capacity laws would still fuck you if the game warden saw you mowing down a flock of birds with a drum

Also I believe most military type shotguns are designed for heavy loads so bird shot would probably jam alot
>>
>>29787770
Put enough buckshot in the air and you're bound to hit something sooner or later, I don't think the loss in projectile count would hurt all that much.
>>
>>29787782
There would be ground dove everywhere
>>
>>29787770
>using a full auto shotgun to hunt
>worrying about mag limits...

you can easily load the same mass of lead with birdshot as buckshot. More, even since there's less dead space between the pellets.
>>
>>29786932
>
why would they destroy it and not jus tissue it to their own police?? im sure theres got to be a sheriff in a hick town in ausland who could use an extra shotgun
>>
>>29787875
>Rural aussie sherrif toting around a goddamn USAS-12 with a giggle switch
>Chasing abbos off of petrol pumps
>Lighting up koalas at 3 in the morning just for the fuck of it
I'm pretty sure I saw a movie about this already
if not fund it
>>
>>29787818
Just because a person goes hunting does not mean they want to eat the meat.
>>
>>29787634
Which is ridiculously hard to get and impossible for the vast, vast majority of people. Plus, have fun trying to import a USAS-12, I wouldn't be surprised if it's impossible within $50,000
>>
>>29787727
Welcome too Ausfailia, where airshit is 100% b&, paintball markers are cat A firearms, and you need a valid reason to be carrying anything dangerous ever, including small knives. And no, self-defence doesn't work.

They did export them to Oz back in the day, or at least a few.
Hell, the tard at Port Arthur even had one in his car but never got to use it.

There are no 60rd drums, only 20rd drums and 12rd sticks.
>>
Alright fags the USAS 12 was super popular in Asia and they used to be really common in security guard armouries. It's like ho the 5.56 tommy gun Daewoo made happened to be super popular in the Balkans, some guns are massive in the US, and some aren't.
>>
I take comfort in the fact that there was ~3.5 million fully automatic preban rifles sold in Australia, and only ~0.5 million were collected/accounted for
>>
>>29789419
Most people just put them in their attics or in well sealed containers on their properties.

Hell, back in the day a 12 year old could go into a gun shop with his own money and buy an AR-15 with no background checks or anything. The only thing potentially stopping him would be the owner of the gun store refusing to sell.

There were no problems before Bryant went nuts. If you had a gun you were expected to use it well, and almost everyone did.

Hell, back then even the cops knew that criminals are the only people you should target if you want to stop gun crime.
>>
>>29789419
>I take comfort in knowing there are expensive '80's era rifles rotting in a container in people's backyards, never to be used again

Literally no point of a firearm if you cannot use it

Yeah, as you said, you'd have to load your own because bird shot is almost always low brass. Unless you go nitro express or similar
>>

Ah shit, it wasn't Daewoo it was Singapore's CIS. The Ultimax 100 is perhaps one of the best 5.56 machine guns ever made.

>>29786932
I seem to recall someone making reproductions of these, or maybe I'm losing my mind here.
