In case you're not, let me explain why Studioforce is shit. A band is only as good as their ability to reproduce their music on stage. Dragonforce cannot, and has not, ever done this. They sound like fucking trash live. The instruments, the vocals (dear fucking god, the vocals), it's a fucking disaster. Their albums are completely fake. They add in way too many retarded video game sounds and other shit into them. I'm sorry that you had to learn about power metal through Guitar Hero 3, but trust me when I say that DF is garbage.

Okay. The guitar solos are good, but the rest of the song is completely lacking substance. The band doesn't resonate with one another at all. Most of the sound cancels each other out, with the exception of the ridiculous drumming. I don't know how you two can watch that video and say that it's "good" with a straight face.

Here's something someone might be able to help with. When /k/ radio was working last year before the big change fucked their shit, there was a song that played on the grab bags and metal monday. I can't remember much of the sound, but for some reason I'm thinking something similar to Mastodon's Leviathan album. Anywho, the song ended with the sound of some sort of metal structure, like the hull of a ship creaking and groaning. Anyone know what the hell might be stuck in my head?
