I just recently turned 21 and was looking into getting my Concealed Handgun License in Texas. Are there any handguns you would recommend or stay away from?

Since this is a Browning Medalist thread, does anyone here know how to disassemble the gun for cleaning? My father has one that he inherited from my grandfather and we can't seem to figure out how to remove the slide and/or barrel.
