So. I'm a 20 year old. Turning 21 soon, looking at handguns. I'm planning on carrying some sort of polymer sub $400 compact (fns-c, m&p C, glock 26, PPS, etc) but I want a "range/tactical" 9mm. I've always liked the looks and ergos of the cz75s I've finger-fucked, but I hear a lot of bad press about czs here
>bad finish
>tool marks
>a quality that doesn't match the pricetag of the firearm

So, I wanted to talk about clones
Turkshit
Swissshit
Kikeshit
Slavshit
Of course, discussion of the cz75 and variants is cool too.
>>
>>29763604
Ignore the bullshit, most CZ owners are happy with their guns and you'll be happy with it too if you buy one. As for the clones I can't speak for them so, yeah.
>>
dont buy a clone save more and buy what you really want. money is easy to replace
>>
>>29763604
>Swissshit

I know how you're using *shit to just describe where the gun was made, but Sphinx are such fantastic guns made to very high standards, so it's kind of insulting to use shit to describe them.
If you can afford a Sphinx, get one.
And yeah, CZ's kinda suck. Poorfags will defend them till their dying breath, but that's just what they do.
>>
>>29763651
Clones just include actually bad turkguns. It includes the jerico 941 and the Sphinx pistol

>>29763695
New ones kinda suck don't they? And the old ones are like $3k

I handled a Canik C100 at the range the other day. It was a neat little pistol and much lighter than my 75 (IIRC, it has an aluminum frame). It also fed all 16 rounds from my pre-B magazines no problem.
>>
>>29763750
I bet you like PTRs too
>>
>>29763695
ITM of Solothurn also made CZ75 copies.
>>
>>29763604
Get a P07? I bought mine for $429.
>>
>a quality that doesn't match the pricetag of the firearm
Where do these niggers live that a plain CZ 75 is expensive? This is the thing that should tip people off to the CZ hate being a meme.

I like anything cheap.
>>
>>29763604
>but I hear a lot of bad press about czs here
lol wut?
The 75's main problem is it's slightly to heavy and long compared to other popular ccw choices. For range and nightstand use it's fine.
>>
>>29763604
Have a Turk CZ clone that I paid $250 for. More solid than pistols I paid twice that for.
>>
>>29763604
I'm turning 21 next month and I'm going to buy my first pistol too.

I was looking at CZs too, RAMI caught my eye. It's a subcompact CZ-75 from CZ-USA. I don't know shit about CZ-USA's quality though. My dad has a Glock 27 (it's the G26 but in .40) and it's pretty good too but a tiny bit more expensive. He also has an LCP and I love how small it is for carrying but actually shooting it sucks cock.

What do you guys think?
>>
>>29763604
Just fwi, you don't have to be 21 to own or carry a handgun. Atleast in most non-commie states.
>>
>>29763815
CZs are around $500-600 in a lot of places but you can get a clone that's just as good for under 400 dollars. CZs are meme guns anon.
>>
>>29763604
I've owned a few CZ's and I like them a lot. Dunno what anyone is talking about with bad finish, etc. My dad and I shared an old unmodified 75 at an IPSC tourney a few years ago. He got first place, and I got 5th out of 11 people. That was my first one.

Finish is fine
Tool marks are internal and don't effect the reliability or accuracy in any way and so are fine
Price is what you would expect for a metal frame gun. Polymer is cheaper and drives the price down
Design is out dated by modern standards. Space is not used efficiently and it's heavy for what it does. Any of the big brand polymers do the same job for less weight and shekels.
But but but
Gun feels amazing to hold and shoot. So good for range.
Pic related. 941 full size. Good variant.
>>
>>29763604

Unless you're worried about the finish on the inside of the frame, which you can't see 99.8% of the time, CZs are beautiful and holy-shit accurate.
>>
>>29763717
>New ones kinda suck don't they
based off what? most reliable pistol I've owned

and yes, I've owned a few various handguns, picture not including my sold off S&W M&P, CZ P07, HK USP, Sig MK25.
>>
OP, just turned 21, and have been looking at a range/tactical 9mm just like you. I've been looking at CZs but my first choice is probably going to be a Sig SP2022. Its basically a P229 clone, but with a polymer receiver.

If youre dead set on CZs though, don't listen to the bad press

I haven't seen one new that didn't have a bad finish. Also haven't seen any with tool marks

If you find a polymer receiver CZ they end up in the high 500s low 600s from what I've seen, just a tad more expensive than that SP2022

Whichever you decide to go for though both are good companies and good guns, just don't go for a taurus

I have pic related. Pretty cool pistol for $300, but nowadays they're easily hitting the $400 mark. Trust me. Spend the extra $100 and get whatever kind of CZ75 strikes your fancy. The quality/fit/finish is better overall and the action just feels quite a bit smoother and more refined.

I found a Pre-B CZ75 for $590 locally and I'm about ready to seal the deal.
>>
Uhhh, you sure you want a polymer frame CZ?

The best feature is the steel frame.

Finding pre-Bs in good shape is usually pretty tricky, and that thing's immaculate. Ive seen pre-bs go for as much as 650ish.

>>29764519
Yes, but I don't want a new one. The old ones look better and have marginally better triggers.

I've owned a Witness, it was fantastic.
I currently own one of the turk clones, Canik T100 I believe it is, got it for $300 and it's great, runs any ammo I feed it without issue.

I also have a Canik TP9 V2 I got for $350 and it's fantastic, Canik makes good shit at great prices, this stuff will probably only go up in cost like the Witnesses did.

Picture related, sexy, comfortable, reliable, they are just good guns on a budget.
>>
If you're looking for a range pistol, the best thing you can do for yourself is try them out and look up reviews online to see if there are any serious problems with them. How the ergonomics of the pistol feel to you are going to be far more important than the small details that /k/ommandos harp on and say qualifies some brands as "better". A brand's wide selection of aftermarket sights and barrels won't mean shit to you if it feels like a brick in your hands and the controls are just a bit off to you and you can't use them as well as you'd like.

Which I do not understand at all; part of their appeal is how cheap they were.

If youre going to buy a CZ get a 75. I had a bad experience with a P-07

Tristar makes some of the best CZ clones. Plus they are usually 200-300 dollars cheaper.

Most of the whole "MUH KWALITY!" Stuff people spout is bullshit people said to bring CZfuckers to their knees after the crowd got too annoying (same way Glovknade became a meme after Glockfags got to annoying)

Any clone and/or legitimate CZ is great.
The originals are nice, kikeshit's cool because Jewish spess Magic (and it's actually slightly cheaper than a real CZ where I'm at)
Spaghettishit's also fine; ignore the BS people will feed you about them being shit. You get what you pay for.
They make clones in a few calibers CZ will never make their guns in, sadly, which is nice.
Turkshit's...turkshit.
With the advent of newly imported real Jerichos, they're really not that special or cool, and so all that's left is quality and price.

I haven't fucked around with them so I've got next to no idea how good they are.
But I wouldn't buy one just on the premise of it being turkshit (just a pet peeve of mine.)

I haven't fucked with swissshit either, but I've heard nothing but good stuff about them, and they seems pretty decent.

Anyways.
I have a Jericho, and want a CZ-75 and an EAA witness hunter. They're on my buy list.

Oh, also, if you're looking for small shit for a carry gun, consider any of the combloc 9x18 handguns.
They typically are small enough to fit in your pocket fairly comfortably so long as you don't wear skinny jeans.
>>
>>29768543
What shoulder holster is that? I've been looking for one for my 941
>>
>>29764019
I have a RAMI and love it.

>>29768675
Belgian police surplus off of sportsmansguide.
Sadly, it's only got a metal clip for retention, which doesn't work too well for my Jericho.
I need to make a hammer thing for it.
