Let's discuss pocket guns. Nothing larger than .380! I don't care if you can kinda sorta stuff your G43 in your pocket.

Here's my current pocket warmer. Just got an LCP too because I want something more reliable, but it's in jail until Friday.

What cute little guns does /k/ keep in their pockets?

I love this little thing.

Which commie state anon? I'm OP and in California. My LCP cost me almost 3x the going rate because it's not on our roster.

>>29762092
How do you like it? Haven't found a place that rents them.
>>
>>29762131
It's slow, snappy, and loud. I love it.

The LCP Custom is the only gun I pocket.
>>
Is the PPK/s chambered in .22 a good pocket gun?
>>
>>29762047
Got a kahr p380 like you OP.

I got it in cuckfornia while stationed at Pendleton. Mine is "Cali" legal and has an orange indicator that pops up when a round is chambered. Which I don't really mind, just pretty sure I over paid.
>>
My dad wants to get a P380 to pocket carry. How do you like yours, OP? Sounds like you aren't pleased with the reliability?

why not Shield?

I'm in NY, the second worst county to get a handgun license in. It's possible (will never get CC though, I'm not friends with a judge) but takes 8-9 months and requires, no shit, and ex's phone number and address. That's ontop of 4 notarized, sealed, 1-2pg letters of recomendation, background checks, interviews with two police agencies and the police calling family members I haven't seen in 3 years to find out if I'm worthy of accessing my constiutional rights. I got frustrated and gave up after taking the course. I let them win but I'm moving to maine shortly so overall the state looses by driving out so many people. That's at least what I tell myself to justify the defeat. It's always going to be a libshit state with super high taxes no matter what.
>>
>>29762268
I considered it, but the bodyguard actually felt better in my hand for some reason, more proportional i guess
the shield felt too thin for how tall it was, plus the safety was easier to operate (this was my first handgun so i wasn't sure if i'd use it or not, wanted the option open)
strangely enough I'm considering getting another handgun suitable for carrying, but the shield now seems to similar to the bodyguard to own both, so I'm thinking I'm gonna get an M&P compact 9 for the higher capacity
or a glock 19, not sure yet
>>
>>29762251
>>29762251
Nope. It's Umarex-made garbage. Also it's a .22, so yeah.
>>
>>29762330
Umarex? Not Walther?
>>
>>29762255
Not OP but Im the guy who bought one in California, now love in Wisconsin and own several pew pews.

It's a good gun but honestly not worth the money I paid. $700 when I could own a ruger lcp for less than half that plus another gun.

Pocket pistols aren't range beasts. Or shouldn't be. They are that little friend you need at close range when shtf.

Also my kahr is the only gun I've ever given a name. I call it the Cricket. Because the bitch likes to hop when shot. I've heard plenty /k/ommandos suggest compact 9mm for this reason.
>>
>>29762119
Of course! I should have made an exception
for derringers.

>>29762252
Mine is also the CA version, though I'm in the process of changing that. It's currently stripped to a bare frame.

>>29762255
Hickock45 loves his and raves about it's reliability like many other people. Mine was a bad apple that I should have sent back to Kahr. It just depends on your luck I guess. Kahrs have a 5 year warranty.

>>29762290
Damn that sucks anon.
>>
>>29762376
Umarex is the parent company of Walther. They're the ones who make all the shitty .22s branded "Walther", like the P22, PPK/S, and all the other branded copies (Colt M4, HK MP5, S&W M&P22, etc). They're made of pot metal in Umarex's factory and just branded Walther for name recognition.
>>
>>29762379
OP here. I also have a PM9 that I find much harder to control than the P380. I actually love the way the P380 shoots. Maybe that's because the PM9 is a subcompact and not a compact though...
>>
>>29762127
I bet it's easy to shoot being on the heavier side.

>>29762229
How to you like it? Those tall sights ever snag?
>>
>>29762466
Hey I'm not dissing the gun. It was just kind of an impulse buy for me. Early 20's and get back from deployment with 17 large in account. What do?

I'll give it a compliment, it's one of the 380's rated for Buffalo Bore, if you want that extra wollup.
>>
>>29762499
Define "easy to shoot". It operates via gas-retarded blowback, so recoil is sharp, but almost totally straight back. It barely moves off target but it does sting your hand. I really like it though.
>>
>>29762499
>How to you like it? Those tall sights ever snag?

I like it alot. Reliable, small, and no issues with the sights because I have a fucking holster.
>>
>>29762604
I don't mind dissing the gun. I did buy an LCP after all.

Taurus (hue) TCP

It fits in your Fob Pocket (it's where I keep mine)

It's been 100% reliable with FMJs but won't eat any JHPs I've given it with enough reliability to carry. So I'm kinda mixed. It does shout very well but will hurt your hand after a couple magazines but it's a fuggin pocket 380. The open slide on empty is nice and no fag-o safeties. Still use it when I don't want to carry my G26.
>>
>>29762047
not to derail, and the reason may be eponymous, but whats the fucking point of a pocket pistol?

most subcompacts can conceal in any situation a pocket pistol can, and they don't come in retarded anemic cartridges.

Micro DEAGLE guy here, I really liked my TCP. It had a great trigger, usable sights, and never malfunctioned even with shit FMJ or defensive JHP.

Then my brother had the same model and his ejected straight back at his face for whatever reason.

And yours didn't feed JHP at all?

Fuck year Taurus QC in full effect
>>
>>29762911
No kidding. I looke it up and the store doesn't exist though. I figured if they did I'd take it in to show them
>>
>>29762911
Even with inflation that's a great deal. Only $265 in today's money. You aren't going to get a beautiful metal-framed pistol for that kind of money anymore.
>>
>>29762846
if you just look at pictures of them, you don't see the advantage, but actually holding and carrying them you get it
taking s&w for example (just cause its what i'm familiar with)
the shield 9mm weighs 19oz
the bodyguard 380 weighs just under 12oz
neither weighs very much at all, but the shield still weighs 60% more than the shield

and although 380 will never be on the same level, there is some good ammo out there that approaches the lower end of 9mm
I carry speer gold dot in my 380 since it performs on the upper end of most ammo tests on the internet, so i don't feel that its completely anemic
>>
>>29762867
No, no detaining going on here. I'm just stranded here in Polk County. Seeing who else is in God's country.
>>
>>29762924
>And yours didn't feed JHP at all?
Yeah but not reliably, I'm going to see if I break it in a bit more if it will and a polish, if not back to Taurus it goes, I've had the thing a year already

Technically Illinois is gay. I sit on top of you in Wisconsin. You can call me your hat, but I think of you as my toilet.

You only allowed CC because a guy petitioned the state and the Supreme Court ruled in his favor.

Meanwhile: in Wisconsin CC was allowed because until 2011. Despite popular belief we were a constitutional carry state and only adopted the law because everyone else did and we wanted reciprocated.

>>29766719
It was pretty sweet watching the reactions of the superlib Illinois gubmint as they were forced to start the process.

Thoughts on the Beretta 21A 25acp?
Looks pretty dank to me and I haven't heard anything bad so far.
