>There are people on /k/ RIGHT NOW who think that the military does false-flags as an excuse to start more wars

OH yes, dying or getting horribly maimed in buttfuckistan is going to make soooo many people rich and powerful. More like publicly humiliated for making stupid decisions.
>>
So the military-industrial complex wouldnt benefit from such things? Not saying your right or wrong, but surley war is big business for lots of sectors, and new politicians will always need campaign contributions

>inb4 tinfoil hats come out

>I don't understand the military industrial complex

I'd explain but it'd take way too long and you still wouldn't believe it.

What is MK Ultra
What is the CIA released plot to escalate the Vietnam conflict (Kennedy assassination was mob shit though, not arms contract related like the stupid theory)

Hard to get caught when you literally own the media, and all the people involved have good reason to keep their ties under wraps, or lack the ability to prove they're being scape goated (because they're living in mud huts usually)

Even if false flags aren't involved the powers that be have been VERY eager to leap into armed conflict lately.

There is an entire defense industry whose profit and lives depend on wars being fought around the world.

Militaries spend huges portions of their countries wealth on defense spending. You lack a serious knowledge of basic economics if you really think there is no incentive for lobbyists and trillion-dollar industries to start conflicts which keep the machine running and pockets stuffed.
>>
>>29744900

>Le big ebil military industrial complex controls all things

You're right! I bet it was Lockheed-Martin who flew those planes on 9/11! They needed an excuse to do more contracts!
>Go assassinate that dictator and de-stabilize the region. Our Marines need new rifles and we can't figure out what company to use.

Thats a very childlike way of viewing it.
And lay off the strawmen.

More like; we decide whether to go to war with a country and public support is leaning towards non-interventionist policy.

The trillion dollar defense industry lobbies various other industries and politicians to drum up support under various pretenses (ie Weapons of mass destruction and so on) in order to maintain their livelihoods and deliver profits.

Without war and conflict there is no modern defense industry or "military industrial complex."

They have sought huge influence over politics.

Saying they do not is like saying oil companies or tobacco industries never influence politics. Its a very naïve way of looking at the world.

Here's a quote by one of the most brilliant men whom ever lived. By the end of WW2 an immense industry was created which from then on became reliant on military spending to stay afloat.

Notice how during WW2 civil industries turned to making bombs and guns. Like IBM and GMC and National Postal Meter and International Harvester.

Now we have entire corporations dedicated to making bombs and guns.
>>
>>29745106

>There would never be another war if those darn corporations would just stop influencing people and framing other countries! Secretly all of humanity gets along and there's no need to ever fight another war!

I bet you think we went to the Middle East for oil and that Islam is a religion of peace.
>>
>>29745136
Again that's a total strawman and I really shouldn't reply but....

I don't think that at all. I said it has influence and there is an incentive to go to war and intervene in conflict.

You either are a kid, willfully ignorant, or are baiting.
>>
>>29745136
>literally all I have is strawmen; the post(s)
>>
>>29745106
>>29745156
So by your logic if the "military industrial complex" were to disappear we would never fight another war? That America doesn't actually have enemies that plot our destruction and want all of our heads on poles?

Oh wait I see what you're doing, next you're going to claim that "yes we do have enemies BUT only because the 'military industrial complex' made them mad at us in the first place" aren't you?
>>
>Ahmed, are you ready to kill the infidels in the name of Allah?
>Hush Habibi, everyone knows we mustn't kill people just for being different from us. We're killing infidels because they invaded us for no reason
>But what about all these ancient Koranic verses saying to kill infidels?
>Oh please, everyone knows the Americans wrote those as an excuse to steal our oil
>>
I'm going to ask you to look at the declassified papers from what was happening 50 years ago.
Then think about it for about a minute, if this was the least incriminating shit and things that they decided to get published...
Then imagine how they stoped. Because, well, they totally aren't paying $90 for a broom or $200 for a hammer....
>>

>Notice how during WW2 civil industries turned to making bombs and guns. Like IBM and GMC and National Postal Meter and International Harvester.
>Now we have entire corporations dedicated to making bombs and guns.

We had those as well. Civil industries were retasked with military contract work because we were rebuilding an Anemic military to fight the largest war since the the steppes popped like a ripe zit and gave the world Genghis Khan.

And then we did it while rearming and supplying all of the allies. Look man, there are process based explanations that hold up to Ockham's Razor far better than "MUH EBIL CORPORATIONS BEING ALL... CORPORATIONY!"

I agreed with pretty much everything up until that point. We are most definitely not over-equipped. We do have a huge military budget, but that all goes to contracts, "research", and lining pockets. Us small fish barely get what we need and have to make do with what we get. Fuck, I saw people wearing ALICE.

Getting politics out of the military will never happen, but it would make us more effective.

> There are grown adults in this world who think that the people with the most money and the most power who also are major share-holders in infrastructure and weapons corporations would not kill a few "pawns" to rake in billions of dollars

That is one hell of a kek, anon.

Next you'll probably tell me that there is a difference between the Democratic and Republic party aside from who they pander to when in reality they are all living in palatial estates, when they aren't sipping cocktails with each-other by the pool at a friendly barbecue they're having weird dress-up parties in the woods or they're openly deciding the world's future behind closed doors at, for example, the G20 summit.

Go back to sleep, Grandpa. Pray you don't live to see the next 20 years.

Sports are literally for faggots.

Group showering, ass grabbing, and every fucking year you hear of some freshmen getting something shoved in his ass or mouth, often a dick or balls, to "haze" or "initiate" him into the great institution of faggotry that is sports in school.

There is nothing wrong with having a school football team that plays the other schools and everyone gets to act like it matters that your shitty district beat some other shitty district.

The fact that they get police escorts out of town on the way to their games, districts over spend on athletics hoping to get in on suma dat good prestige, which, unfortunately, means more money for the school.

>imma getta scholaship got teh college

Most of these retards pass their classes through bold-faced corruption. Students are secretly paid to write papers for them, "tutor them" IE do their homework for them, and often they put them in online versions of legitimate courses to make sure someone else takes the finals. At a really big school you can get away with having someone else take their finals.

I wasn't even at a very big school, bigger than many but middle-sized, with a football team you've probably heard of. One of the chairs of our chemistry department got caught selling answer keys to athletes. Another prof was investigated when a TA was found "making mistakes" on athletes exams to boost their scores.

Yeah, go play your little sport while you're young and enjoy the parties. If that whole NFL dream doesn't work out then enjoy selling used cars or middle-management, assuming you didn't injure yourself while over-exerting your body and losing your scholarship in the process.
