How do people not just get BTFO when stacking up and breaching/clearing a room?

When you watch training videos or simullations online, they all seem to be moving in slow motion- how does an entire team realistically pass through the fatal funnel unscathed? Even with grenades and flash bangs, what is stopping a barricaded individual from 360 no scoping everything in the room?

Not bait... am genuinely curious how this works

Generally the first guy through is bait. Called 'running the rabbit', your second man is going to be the person neutrising a threat. This is perfect world but generally the first guy is expecting to take a hit. With EO (grenades/9 bangs)etc at pretty much all levels it can assist.

Also when outdoors remember that you're generally going to have SBF suppressing apertures etc.

In a war if you really aren't sure toss a grenade in first. It doesn't fucking matter like cops need to worry about in the States.

If it's a 2 story sometimes breach from second story, chase them outside so overwatch can cap them coming out.

By breaching through walls and windows, using explosives, grenades. Going through the door against a prepared foe is tantamount to suicide. Explosive traps, guntraps that spray a mag into a doorway, mines, anything can be waiting for you.

Breaches are done hopefully without the opfor expecting it.

Diversions are also used to draw attention away from the entry point before a breach (flash bangs in the front yard etc).

Explosive breaching will render most defenders incapacitated. I've never been on the inside, but sitting behind the blast blanket it's remarkable how much pressure a det linear makes. Once the blast goes into the building there's reverberative pressures, reflective pressures, a whole gamut of death.

Enter the funnel quickly and hope you don't get hit.

In theory, if you are entering quick enough and the first man in get's hit, he should fall through the funnel or be easy to push through. If you aren't SF operator hero then you have to do without a surplus of frags and flashes.. GL with that
