I am a regular patron over at the hood corner store. I just happened to shove a gun into my waistband before I headed over.
Some of the black nurses that I see in the area pulled up into the parking lot and I started chatting with them. As we were talking, a group of 10 people came up to the store on foot, looking shady. As I was talking to the nurses, one of them says that group of people is looking at you and talking about you, just a heads up. I told them thanks and went into the store. I was like I ain't worried and raised my shirt, exposing my pistol. All the nurses gave me the thumbs up.
So I go into the store and get my shit and leave. I'm walking out of the parking lot when a couple people from that group approach me for directions and some money. I told them I was fine and needed to leave. This made them mad and they started to follow me. I walked to my house and went through the front gate and onto my porch. They actually came to my property line and they said "are you SURE you don't have money?" I told them no and to go away. One of them had the balls to actually open my gate. I raised up my shirt and showed them the pistol in my waistband and told them to fuck off. However they are still hanging out in the area by my house.

Then call the cops on 'em. Stay on the phone with dispatch while watching hoodlums out the window because the hoodlums will walk off, it's your job to tell dispatch what direction they are headed towards so unit can intercept.
Also, tell dispatch that they were threatening that "you better give them your money." It's a paraphrase that will actually turn their night from a "this white nigga at this house" to a "cops stopping us." This is good for you because if the COPS are the last issue they had then it won't naturally be YOU who was the last issue they had.

But dude it sounds like you have the good set up. Gate for layer 1 delay, motion floods for layer 2 deterrent, perimeter trip for layer 3 response, and HD cams for layer 4 response.
The ONLY way you could make that system better would be to bar the windows (did you already say they were?), have ground level lights on interior side of the fence, and have a safe room. I applaud your security practicality.
