All firearms must be thrown overboard once you have reached safe waters.
>how many staff do you sub contract?(-$1000 per man)

Hire no one. Buy a shit ton of fireworks for $5000. If any niggers come to me I'll shoot fireworks at them and theyll think its black magic and turn right back around.

Spend no money on weapons or personnel and just use my pocket knife to fend of would be attackers.
Five dudes, AR15s or AK74s so long as they cost less than $1000. Anything else is out of their own pocket.
And some giant rocks to sink boats like that. Just drop them over the side and they'll capsize those plastic boats. Maybe get like a grapling crane or excavator with a claw to facilitate the dropping of said rocks.

The gamble paid off.
>You go home with $10000 in your pocket ready for the best 4th of July BBQ ever
I coat the entire ship's hull in Bad DragonĀ® Cum Lube and spend the remaining money to buy multiple Hi-Points which I string into a large necklace configuration like pirates of the olden days of the sail would do for multiple shots.

how many enemies are to be expected?
>hire 3 people and everyone is armed with cheap ARs

what they already do. 2 guys, 2 rifles. pew pew at pirates stupid enough to attack them. toss the controlled part of the gun overboard at port of call and keep the rest. ship it back air freight and hope it makes it through customs. if not, just buy another one.
Personally I'd go with a scoped AR10 and an AR15. those niggers in their fishing skiffs take 4-8 hours to catch up to a container ship and pretty much just threaten them for the 50k of fuck off pirates money these boats carry for the very purpose of not getting their shipment of strategic McDonalds toys shot up with RPGs. If a guy opens up on them at 800 yards accurately they'll either die or 360 and moonsale away.
>hurr muh scenario
we both know it'd run south of 5 grand with uppers, furniture, optics, etc. being reusable assets and amortized over the course of Operating Operationally.
>6 men ($6,000)
>6 SW MP-15 Sport II rifles ($3,414 - http://www.gunbuyer.com/p-58570-smith-and-wesson-mp-15-sport-ii-556mm-16-barrel-301-10202.aspx)
>2 Nikon P-223 Scopes ($300 - http://www.cabelas.com/product/Nikon-P-Riflescope/1330873.uts?productVariantId=3100317&WT.tsrc=PPC&WT.mc_id=GoogleProductAds&WT.z_mc_id1=03379725&rid=20&gclid=CjwKEAjwgPe4BRCB66GG8PO69QkSJAC4EhHhdv8UnGjmzIOKrFLKIGoRlgiA5zw0bZMdoL-VAROjRBoCTYLw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds)
2000 rounds 5.56 ($590 - http://ammunitionstore.com/products/223-5-56x45-ammo-55gr-fmj-wolf-gold-brass-case-boxer-primed-1000-round-case.html)
6 plate carriers with AR500 armor ($1290-http://www.ar500armor.com/sentry-plate-carrier-w-armor-and-pouches-olive-drab.html#.Vx5tyvkrJD8)
Total expenses: $11,594. Given that I took into account ammo expenses and reusable items (body armor might have to go, but I doubt the scopes would), I am pretty happy. Profit might start out low, but assuming business growth following successful defensive engagements with the pirates, I would expect to charge more and subsequently make more money.
