As long as it supports what he's saying now he'll say any bullshit he wants to so it sounds like he has a good basis for whatever he's saying. In his anti-F-35 interviews he also makes a ton of baseless statements about how the F-16 was the answer to the F-15's complexity - even though he and his ilk loathed the changes that made the YF-16 daylight dogfighter into the high-tech multi-role F-16.

F-35 is a good plane that will be NATO's workhorse. If Russia/China can drop those numbers by shilling against it, why wouldn't they?

Quite the opposite, I absolutely love everything pertaining to F-35 development and all it's procurement would mean for the future of USAF. Frankly, my biggest fear right now is Trump getting elected and cutting funds to this disaster and LRS-B program; or worse, outright abolishing both boondoggles and allocating resources to put out >500 modernized Raptors instead. Hopefully Hillary or some other corporate puppet gets it so that lobbyists and politicians can proceed flushing what's left of US air supremacy down the drain in pursuit of 'sensor fusion', 'information superiority' and social experiments.
