8/18 my grandpa found this in a trash can when he was a garbage man
9/18
10/18 made the sheath as my first beadworking project in like 5th grade
11/18
12/18 made this sheath as well, still trying to find snaps to keep it from falling out
13/18
14/18
Aside from the usual flea market/gas station stuff I'm digging those case and old timers. Vintage knives are always cool.
15/18 made this out of a pair of sheep shears. the matching shear blade knife i gave to my mom cuz she's cool and into knives like me. Sheath also my work.

Yeah a lot of the cheap stuff is still just hanging around from when I started collecting when I was younger (4th grade I think?). Case has always been my favorite. My grandpa has a fuck ton of Case knives and lots of cool guns and what not. He got me into it all.
Fuck, all my numbers are off. OP image should have been 1/18. Sorry m8s. here's 17/18, a really beat to shit and rusted kabar
18/18
My "collection" consists on an EDC folder, cooking knifes, a glawk knife and some Swiss army multi tools
Fite me?

>>29730199
Super dope find, guess somebody decided to get a life
>>29730184
This just means it's time to sharpen it to a flat chisel tip.
>>29730504
I was thinking about having a friend work on it and make it just a shorter version of what it once was, but i like that idea >>29730496
thanks man. a few months ago I caught a rat in a trap but it didn't die. Decapitated the lil shit with it
>>29730274
I'm kinda the same way. I think that's how a lot of collections start. I have an old wooden ammo crate full of chintzy knives that I honestly wish have remained money in the bank for just a handful of older ones that weren't made in China or Pakistan.
My western 66, grandfathers solingen edge mark 473, great grandfathera shrade sharpfinger and case sodbuster are my favorite oldies. I had an old school kabar but it vanished about 4 moves ago. I've also got what I guess would be close to a kinjdal type blade that my grandfather made out of a saw blade from a mill. Machete my ass grandpa
>>29730559
I feel ya on the saving money thing man. The kindjal sounds rad, I love homemade stuff. The kabar in the OP image was my great grandpa's. According to my grandmother he stabbed a few Japs with it in WW2, but I have no idea how true that is. She exaggerates and tells a lot of tall tales.
Sure. Here's mine. R8 me.
>>29730640
not really my style, but I can appreciate the quality stuff and especially like the cold steel at the bottom right. like a modern version of >>29730228.
>>29730676
Yeah I use the crkt neck knives(the two wharncliffe blades) the opinel and the benchmade the most.
>>29730765
Which are probably the best quality knives I have** and the cold steel knives were both $12 so get you one. They're great knives. I use them in the kitchen more than anything 4116 Krupp stainless holds a decent edge and they come sharp as shit out of box.
>>29730779
we might have them or something similar at my work, and even tho id get a 30% discount im pinching pennies till after my trip to portland in a few weeks. Me, the gf, and a couple of friends are gonna see The Who and shoot shit at my friend's cabin. It'll be my gf's first time shooting, hopefully I can get her into it.

>>29730228

>>29732100

>>29732797
elk ridge ER-268. inexpensive. decent. going to reprofile it when I have the time.
>>29732987
>>29733008
I like it, but yeah i'd smooth the actual edge out to match the rest of the blade so there isnt so much of a sharp change in angle. assuming that wouldn't fuck it up too much of course
