The idea is that there's essentially a farmhouse over every hill out here. Which is pretty much true. All the cartridges listed have a tendency to have a rainbow arc and won't go too far out compared to traditional spitzer rifle calibers.
It used to be ONLY shotgun slugs, Ohio has been making large strides in the past few years regarding gun laws.
I guess out of this list I would pick 38-55.
