>$400 Nugget
Are the Finnish ones really so much better than others that it's worth that much markup? You can still find Russian and Chinese ones for under $200.

i guess we will find out in a week. Classic has some arsenal refinishrd russians, I just not worried about the last hundred bucks as much as i'd like a nice good shooter.
thinking this is candidate for some reloading.

7.62x54r is gonna be a PITA to reload, just because boxer primed ammo for them are more expensive and harder to find. Even the guy at my reloading shop said it's more cost effective to stick with steel cased Russian ammo.

CHrist, those things have to be fucking bottom of the barrel now.
I'm talking "presence of stock not guaranteed" bottom of the barrel.
Boasting in a nugget bread.
Just wanna get my butthurt out.
I was at a gunshow in NY a couple weeks ago looking for my first nugget. I got there late in the day so all the good shit was gone, there was only one nugget I could find in the whole show; a Type 53. This thing was in rough shape, stock was missing tons of finish, rough as fuck, battered, looked like it'd been through hell. Missing bayonet. The fat old piece of shit selling it wanted $270 and wouldn't budge

this is America and that's his right
Saw an M44 at the gun show in Dulles earlier this weekend: rough as shit, stock worn/chipped/battered, barrel and bayonet with tons on pitting and rust. Dude wanted 250

I'd that m27.
I picked up a refurbished 91/30 myself recently. Even though it's in good condition I'm gonna drop it in one of those new polymer stocks.
