Curious what they'd have to do in terms of reporting it? I know in some of Europe they try and discourage relic hunting, and in England they blew up some dudes collection because he had some shells.

Wow, its a grear fucking condition. Most if the stuff people find here barely even works. Although a friend of mine has built a working mp38 from found and bought parts. Shame that you cant buy the ammo unless you have a license for a gun with the same ammunition.
Keeping shit like this is highly illegal in Latvia, though, government is checking the biggest archelogy barter websites for all illegal stuff like essential gun mechanisms and ammo. (Although there is still a way to obtain them)
