Yes definitely.
these are the only Vz58's worth getting at all. Czechpoint VZ's ONLY
Superior to the AK imo but only if the Bolt carrier is tabbed.
DNB the Vz2008 they are unlined and the untabbed group will fuck up inevitably. Probably when you dont want it or need it to.
Czechpoint has patent on tabbing which is only way to get full functional Vz58 semi

CSAs already have tabbed carriers. My 5.56x45mm came with it from the factory.

Nice 5 round magazine faggot did you remember to ask the RCMP permission to take that to the range?

I painted all of my magazines flat black because they come with a glossy finish or transparent. ATTs don't even exist anymore.

Vz 58 makes a pretty great SBR. You get BHO, stripper clip guides in x39, and much less wasted OAL in the receiver.
It's not a $1000 gun, though.

Are they still sold for that much in the US? Were they ever cheaper? I got mine brand new for $400 CAD for jesbuses sake, but with only two magazines.

Atlantic Firearms also states that the carriers are tabbed, or have the "push-down plate". It basically prevents the famous gremlin that rewarded you with a dead trigger.
>- patented push-down plate on bolt carrier to prevent misfire issues (D-Technik/Czech Small Arms vz. 58 firearms are the only vz. 58s manufactured with this vital part to ensure reliability)
OP here, the real question I have is would this be worth it over a more popular configuration such as a AKM or AR.

Few years ago there was a lot of deals of $400 for 5 mags, mag pouch, sling, bayo and its sheath which is an incredibly good price for all that you're getting.
