South Missouri here. Local range is out at a conservation park. Pretty basic with 100 and 50 yard ranges. Lovely country though.

southern missouri is beautiful, current river and and jacks fork in the van buren area are some of my favorite floating spots, if only it weren't a 3.5 hour drive :^(

There's an lgs about 50 feet from where I work so I usually go there if I need anything
Missouri changed the cc age to 19 on my 19th birthday. I was so excited. But I'm still to lazy to go take a class. I even know a place down the road that does it for 50 bucks AND supplies ammo

OP here, I usually go to the public range thats out in russelville. Its a pretty good place but I'd like to find a good spot in the woods or somewhere open like public forest land, anybody know of any good spots around the jeff shitty area to go

Eh busch wildlife. You mean messing with your target simulator. Since you have breaks every 15 minutes to change them and there is always an old guy messing with his for 10 minutes. Since a buddy got some property I haven't gone back.
live about 20 minutes drive from como I despise the fact that other than pawn shops there is no good gun stores nearby. I personally shoot at a small public range at DC Rogers lake in Fayete. Anyone plan to go to the fall k meetup nearby Jeff City mo?

Just moved to KC fromLas Vegas. Love it. Love the trees/woods, the city, the people, the Cabela's. I just can't find any good shooting ranges on the Northwest side of town.

St. Louis Skeet & Trap has...well, everything-shotgun

Jay Henges Shooting Complex is a DNR-run, 100-yard covered/open air range. Costs $4 per day, no time limit. Also has a basic trap field, which is also super cheap.
Arnold Gun Club is a members-only club but they host a bunch of open-to-the-public shoots. 300m rifle bay, 25m pistol bay, couple single-trap clays fields (bring your own birds). Membership is supposedly cheap and there's no wait list currently.
Bench Rest Rifle Club is a members-only club that's sorta expensive and has a long wait-list and strict vetting of new members, but they're the only game in town with >300m shooting facilities. They go to 600m and have very very good benches. Only true benchrest facility in the area, hosts a ton of matches including state and zone championships as well as televised 3GN matches

Tentatively, yes. Once we get a solid "go ahead" from BD's old man we'll be using the same farm to camp out on and target shoot as last fall for Midwest NuggetFest. Probably aiming for late October/Early November, depending when BD and his dad come back from India.

Life's good here in kcmo. I'm surprised there's no one else on the thread from here.
Also kind of weird that all these places you guys are from seem like they're in a different state altogether than here. I know kcmo is of a kansas-based state, but I fucking hate kansas. It's like I don't live in a state, just kc. I can't relate to any of you guys on what life is like in Missouri even though I've lived here all my life.
On a k related note, I bought a fuckload of ammo today that I'll probably never shoot. Oh well.

I've been considering joining the Arnold club since its a lot closer to home than Henges. Top Gun also has some sort of Sportsman's Club, but I remember the membership being about $800 or so a year... though "membership" to their indoor range is included.
Apple creek isn't bad, just scored a grant for 22k towards the trap and skeet yesterday
