Don't. They're trash with a weak housing. Both the electronic components and the housing have been known to fail in rather low stress situations. if you want a compact light, I highly suggest you invest the extra money in an X300U. Sure you'll get the >pistol light meme but they're damn good lights.
Fixed front sight is good and don't let anyone tell you otherwise if you think so as well. Rail panels aren't necessary if you don't think so, but they can be nice.

I'm not sure if you actually mean an insight light or an Inforce because you specified WML, regardless I have a WML mounted with a HSP offset mount and the lights done everything I need it to do. The power went out in my house and I was literally using my rifle as a lamp for hours on end, I've dropped my rifle with the light side down, and I've obviously shot a shit ton of rounds with it on. If it ever breaks on me, I'll get a replace it with a surefire, but until then I really can't find any faults with it in regards to funtionality.

So far MD-ADS is in the lead, PA 3x is the wild card, PA 1-6 or Strike Eagle are trailing the pack.
