The new 5" was $826 marked down from $1157. The 3.5" was $1028.16 marked down from $1456.99. I wouldn't have bought the 5" if I knew I was getting the 3.5" but the more the merrier. Even used they go for more than that so I'm happy. Also bought a Ruger Vaquero .357 Magnum.
I work week on week off and live not far from the Maud Road range. Sometime this summer will be awesome. We have plenty of time to hash out the details of the meet.

Its almost embarrassing at this point. There are still way more guns on my "I want to own list" though. My tips are never sell anything and if something is a super good deal, just buy it. I've bought more than a dozen guns since the start of this year. Some were because I really wanted them and some were just because it would almost be wrong not to buy them at that price.

Its well over 80 at this point. My last inventory was 73 but that was last October. I've added quite a few since then. I've only ever sold one gun in my life, a single shot H&R 12ga. I've got a S&W 629. Its really nice but I hardly ever use it since I stepped up to the big X-Frame. Much nicer to carry all day though. A lot of people don't like Taurus but their .44 Magnum Tracker weighs nothing and is a great carry option. Can be had for sub $500.

Gun show was decent. Went on saturday and got to see a bunch of the cool military guns. But nothing really tickled my fancy enough for me to buy anything so I left home empty handed. On sunday went to the Knik river trails with my coworkers and rode all the way up to the Knik Glacier. Pretty awesome weekend.
One guy had a custom 10/22 with a beautiful wooden stock that fit me just perfectly. That was the only thing that I actually considered buying, but it was $545 so I think I'll try and look for one of those some other time.
