No, that photo is 3 years old now. I've got 6 or 7 mags for it, one being a 40 rounder. The AR is also wearing an Eotech 517 and flip to side magnifier now, as well as a sling attached to a magpul ASAP.
I don't have a whole arsenal pic and my guns are in 2 separate safes, I'm not sneaking around the house at 2 am my time to put a whole pic together for you savages! So you get upside down old crap instead :)
The IJ-70 is a recent pickup, the Auto 5 almost sold this week but the guy backed out, I'm selling a bunch of leftover Arisaka parts to fund another Makarov, and I just shipped my EOTech for a 100% refund that I plan on spending on either a Trijicon MRO or a proper Combloc optic for my SLR-104 although I'm not entirely sold on which one yet (I'm looking at either a PK01-VS or a Venezuelan PK-A, but again I don't have a specific one in mind) but I have plenty of time to choose because the EOTech refund turnaround is like three months

Smiths can't take hot loads like Rugers can, and most Smiths I want are wayyy out of my price range or unobtainium due to the gay-ass roster here. Also I want to start doing comps and they only allow you to load 6 anyways in revolvers so that extra shot is worthless except for home defense, for which there are better options I currently own anyways. Also, smiths can take plenty of hot loads, if youre talking about the super super high pressure 454 loads and 44 mags, the ruger can take those and I wouldnt risk it in the smith, but any 357 ruger can take the smith can take too, dont buy the memes

The only model 19s I've ever seen here in shops go for $850-$1,200 I love the guns but my friends dad has a gaggle of them so I get to shoot them regularly, I still like the Match Champion more in terms of looks and what it as to offer, it's everything I want in a semi-custom factory gun.

I appreciate the advice but I did my homework on the Ruger, there's a variety of factors that are swaying me over to them, and I really, really, want to work up some "Ruger Only" loads for it once I get some cases and access to my other friend's dad's press. He works up some amazingly fun 240 grain magnum loads for his Redhawk that put a smile on my face every time I squeeze the trigger and I want to capture some of that magic in a more affordable platform.

Depends on what youre doing with it. If it's an older, out of production gun, as many as you can afford. For something in current production, I try and keep 3 for the pistols and 10 for the AR.

Yeah, just be careful overloading .357. a little bit of powder goes a long fucking way. I had some 40 s&w loads i made for USPSA, and like 0.3 grains of powder made a huge difference in recoil. everyone should own a prelock smith, it is easily my favorite gun despite it being basically free.

I exclusively use the SCARs, MRs only get shot once in a blue moon. I bought them because I'm an HK fanboy and they're super cool. Reason, I'm a manlet and the MRs are really front heavy.
That being said the MR762 is a lot better built than the SCAR, better finish, tighter fit to all parts, better machining, etc... It's one hell of a rifle, accurate as all get out, eats anything you feed it, durable until the end of time. I talked to one of HK's smiths and he told me they dumped 10k rounds through a MR762 as fast as they could shoot it, stopping every 500 rounds to chuck it in a barrel of water. After 10k rounds it still held 1 MOA at 100 yards with Federal gold match.

Vaporware doesnt have much structural integrity, but top breaks didn't make it far enough along for anyone to know how strong the can be. Material science alone could probably make for a stronger lock before even getting to the lock itself. If a H&R handi-rifle can hold a .500S&W, then a reasonably strong top break could happen
