I just use an iwb at 3. I have a shoulder holster as well, but I found that to be less conformable while riding. I'm sure after enough time riding with it the shoulder holster would have eventually felt normal. But I didn't feel like putting the time in to overcome my discomfort when just wearing it on my hip like normal worked perfectly fine. I also pocket carry a back up which is easy on the bike, but I'm assuming you're looking for easier accessibility in an emergency or carrying something larger.

If you wear IWB and you land on it you could make an injury worse. Shoulder holster or carry it in your jacket pocket is your best bet. You could try a tank bag although you would want to take it with you instead of leaving it on the bike.
