Can someone explain this shit to me? I keep seeing people talk about bore axis issues with bullpups because your sights are so far above the bore but I don't even see why that's an issue, like why is that an issue with a bullpup and not an AR? And why is it an issue in general is the bore axis is low?

Thanks for your time

You have to be more specific than "people are saying something about something". It's hard to speak to what they are saying without specifics.

The sight height over bore tends to be high with bull pups. It is also high with ARs. These are true statements, but I don't know their context. I've never seen anybody make the issue a big deal.

At extremely short and extremely long ranges the difference in POI vs POA is more pronounced

That's it

So as long as you're properly dialed in and have your holdovers set right you're gonna be fine?

So realistically that isn't a real issue and folks can calm their titties?

it's an issue with BDC reticles
>>
>>29573672
I mean, it's only an issue if you got a shut BDC reticle that isn't properly zerod.
>>
>>29573657
Is it airsoft? It says Knight's Armament on the lower. I was trying to figure out what rifle it was exactly. It looks cool.
>>
>>29573711
It's a KAC rifle that a naked bitch wouldn't be able to get her mits on.

You have to be an expert, jewish, whisper-yelling SEAL to do that.

>>29573706

that works for the center dot but range numbers will be off

just look at the proportions
it´s impossible to have tits like those with a skinny body like that

Sight height over bore is purely a training issue. In fact, if you pay attention to what Delta is shooting today you will see a lot of Lower 1/3 EXPS's on risers on top of already tall HK uppers.

The more upright position of your head provides greater situational awareness via peripheral vision. It also makes shooting through NOD's much easier.

All you have to remember is to compensate for mechanical offset closer than your zero, just like you would for any other weapon.
>>
>>29573750
Say that to all the BDC reticles for ARs.
>>
>>29573808
So, as long as you have a good zero and a proper bdc you'll be fine?

Pic related, EXPS3 on Wilcox riser.

Well you'll still have a shitty rifle, but yes.

But they are shitty. That's why countries like France and New Zealand are going back to standard rifles.

Nah, not impossible. My high school gf was 5'0, 100lbs.Real skinny, but between 18 and 19 her tits went from bretty good Bs to the small end of Ds. She blames the pill, I was too busy covering them in jizz to care.

Bullpups were shitty
Bullpups continue to be shitty
Bullpups have 4" of advantage and bring a host of issues that manufacturers seem not to interested in doing anything about.

They are not futuristic

>I keep seeing people talk about bore axis issues with bullpups because your sights are so far above the bore...

Those people can't shoot and don't understand fundamentals. Yes there is a technical difficulty with a sight system that is far off the bore axis. It is easy to mitigate.
