I've decided that it's time I got my first ever rifle. It's going to be a while before I can afford it, but I'm going to get a Steyr AUG A3-M1.
What's your next planned purchase?

M1 carbine I want: ~800$ after transfer

Go with the carbine for now. Prices are only going up on them. Can always sell it in a few years and make some money on the deal.

It's the only 762 ak that I don't fear becoming a waste of money safe queen. I already have a cz vz58 and really nice sks, so anything less in a 762 ak and I probably won't give a damn about it.
I want to get all three calibers of slr, but I want to start with 762x39 since the 22cal guns aren't as fun as 30cal and I already have other aks in 545/556.

because i really had my heart set on the slr107fr. the folder stock isnt a big deal to me but i would like to have one. the sgl came up local for a really good price so it was an impulse buy.
plus now im already invested in mags and x39 ammo so another rifle (albeit very similar) wouldn't be a big investment.

Oh, so your sgl wasn't a folder model?
I guess that would make me want to change it up. Sortof like how I have an original barrel kit bulgarian ak-74, but i really want a folder model with polymer stock. Then I'll just leave my kit gun as my scoped rifle from then on.

IDK either, but I feel like the gun world is settling down again after 8 years of anti-gun presidency. I don't think they're pursuing anti-gun stuff nearly as hard as they used to be.
But the salesmen are always looking for a reason to start a panic, and hillary is enough to do just that. Realistically, I don't think that much will change though, past a short panic.
All I know is I have all my main guns already and just short of 20k rds of centerfire ammo stocked up, even though I almost always grab my pellet rifles for plinking anyway so I go through it damn slow.

then youve got the mag issues where original gi is great and aftermarket doesnt really work
