I think that's true, but you have to admit that the characters are a bit over the top. A lot of us here were in the military. We have our crazy stories about people, but even when the craziest stories are the ones you remember most, you have to admit that a lot of the time shit was mundane and boring. It just wouldn't make for good TV. That's why these dudes play it up so much.
