Should I buy the AK47 coldsteel knife?
I don't like how short the blade is, but it'll really come down to your tastes.
I personally carry a CRKT Dragon on my belt for utility and a knife my Martial Arts instructor designed and had produced for self defense.
No, you should save your money and buy a RAT.

>CRKT Dragon
lol, I found one of those in the grocery store bathroom, it had blood stains on the blade and the word "Ninja" carved into the handle.

>self defense knives
Have fun getting stabbed, anon.
>>29556715
Yes, I own both the full size and mini ak47! Based fucking knives and comfy grip

>saving money to buy the cheaper knife
a-anon?

fug
Did you take it?

I think he means that you're saving money by buying the cheaper knife, not to save up more.

When will this meme end? Unless your being attacked by a krav-maga instructor who can disarm you a knife is better than your fists for self defense

does anyone have the /tg/ image with the laughing elves?
>>29559301
>attackers aren't armed
>give me your wallet or uhhh, I'll beat you up
>being enough of a manlet to actually be intimidated by someone's physical form
If a knife would actually be useful, you don't really need it that much. If they're armed too, the knife is useless unless you want to spend a month in the hospital.

>Attacker is armed
>Give me my wallet or I'll stab you
>Stab me and I'll stab you
>What is mutually assured destruction
>>29559439
>mutually assured destruction
A stupid assumption to make when there are a variety of options that don't involve getting stabbed if the guy decides to go for it.
You shouldn't depend your health on the hope that the guy will see reason, that's fucking dumb.
>>29559439
>Attacker is high on meth, hasn't slept in 6 days
>Is already on the run, stabbed people before
>You pull out your knife and tell them "Back off"
>They rush forward and stab you
>You sliced his arm but he doesn't notice
>He kills you and takes everything or leaves you to bleed out.

I owned and carries the cold Steel AK47 for 3 years. It holds a nice edge, and is very durable for daily use and medium work tasks.
I battoned wood with it in the forest multiple times with no problems.
I paid 50 for it on amazon, I wouldn't spend more than that on it.
All in all I would recommend it.

I wouldn't The handle's un-ergonomic as fuck. I recommend its two sisters, American Lawman and the Recon 1 though.
>>29560173
The handle isn't "un-ergonomic" at all. It might look like it is, but it is not whatsoever.
I actually found it more comfortable to chop and do basic woods tasks with its grip angle than most other woods knives I've used.
