Reality/physics.
Women are simply shittier at combat. On average, sure there are a few women that would perform better than few men, but this is astronomically low percent.
Women, on average, have lesser lung capacity, lesser bone density, lesser muscle mass so whether its throwing grenades or carrying heavy machineguns or picking up wounded people and carrying them, its only reasonable to put men here.
Biology.
Women are simply far more precious then men, when it comes to birthrates. Lets say a tribe has 10 males and 10 females. Lets say you send all males in combat, and 9 dies. Big deal, 1 remaining male can still repopulate all remaining females and next generation is as numerable as if no one died.
Lets say you send 10 females and 9 die. Next generation has only ONE kid.
Now I am not going to list psychology because I am not certain about this one, but I am going to mention it. I dont know if this is something you are born with or how you were raised, so cant list it, but it just seems to me males are more suited for combat. At least in our current culture.
Oh and I forgot one thing: sexual tension.
Imagine you are in a submarine. Imagine everyone is hot and sweaty all the time. Imagine minimal to no privacy. Imagine walking around without your shirt in super tight spaces. Imagine being stuck in these condition for 6 months.
Its simply an extremely bad idea to have males and females together in these conditions, it would serve no purpose, no reason, its just overall bad idea, and the fact its never done in real life compliments it even further.

I can't find the link to safe my life, but I read an article that suggested a problem is that until recently it was considered a rarity for women to engage in high impact sports (basketball, football, various martial arts etc) that would help them develop the strength, agility etc to be more successful in combat arms.
It makes a certain amount of sense to me. Is that to say that if we make all girls play soccer they'll suddenly all be perfectly capable of being infantry? Not at all. Just as all men are not capable of being combat arms, not all females will be.

I have worked together with some of them, though.
I don't want to sound pretentious or bitter or anything. It just seems to me that the average U.S. military does not possess a strict "professional" mindset.
I have met lot of people who served just to escape poverty or having benefits of some sorts (citizenship, healthcare, study sponsorship...).
Nothing wrong with that, mind you. But some of them did not even expect to be deployed. Of course I am talking basic grunts here, as I have never really worked with special corps.
Most countries will not talk about the effectiveness of women in the military beyond claiming that they are just as valuable as male soldiers but when anyone who does a study on it, like the Marines, they find that women are objectively and across the board, worse than men

My experience may be biased since I was Infantry, but we were A) Mostly white, and B) All had jobs and backgrounds where we were able to provide for ourselves, even the rednecks. Especially the rednecks, in fact, who comprised most of the unit. We enlisted because we wanted to, not because we had to.
Now everyone's started to get the fuck out because shit is goddamn stupid. Especially with all this fucking female nonsense. PSG, myself, a few NCOs, and some junior enlisted were all having a talk about this a while back, wondering what it would be like to have females in the unit. The us treasury has literally never defaulted on debt. For political reasons we have refused to pay back debts (like debts the confederacy owed the Brits; the union told the euros to go fuck themselves after the civil war), but we have never failed to pay.
We have WW1 debts still. The funny thing is, we have paid off the debt many times over via interest. But no one "calls it in" because the value of accrued payments from the interest has been more than the debt ever was. Who cares about the original $10 million when the government will pay you $100 million over the next 50 years?
Same with China. They won't "call it in", and there's little they can do to enforce it.
A war would be ludicrously costly, and likely be worth more than the debt ever was when the smoke clears.

It's like affirmative action at universities, there was a major shitstorm about blacks at Harvard recently because they lowered the standards for them in order to have more black students.
