What is your personally favored unconventional or weapon of opportunity?
Mine is pic related. Easy to carry, inconspicuous, and it can poke multiple holes in vital organs faster than you can say "fu-"
Wooden baseball bat. I keep a glove and s ball in the car. I don't play baseball.
as long as you have other tools with it, you can tell the cops that you do some kind of construction.

This. As long as you have a glove and a ball it will hold up in a court of law.
Can't say I've ever carried an unconventional weapon, but when it comes to melee combat I'd have to say a frying pan. Big, heavy, and metal. I can think of another 2 things big heavy and metal.
All jokes aside though, you get hit in the face or the head with the broad side of a frying pan, and unless your name is John Cena, then you're pretty much outta the fight. Hell, even getting whacked in the shin, knee, or arm with the side of it hard enough and you won't have much fight left.

I mean... I also carry on me a Fun. But sometimes you need......

That's probably the best, personally I like a 16" length of 1" brass round stock. Heavy as shit, but great for making tweakers think twice about going near my stuff
I used to carry two of these bad boys in my backpack.

Sexy, reminds me of my trusty 20" tire lever stashed between me and my center console.
Good ole fashion claw hammer, leave in bag with some assorted tools. One side for smashing, the other for puncturing.
Two one once sinkers on a lie ever of fifty pound line.
Hold one and swing the other or throw them like a bolo.
I also keep fishing gear in the car.
If I'm asked whether use is two sinkers on a line I will say it is for throwing over a like to wear out a fish faster.

Over 100,000 baseball bats are sold each year in Russia. But only 10 baseballs are bought every year.

I've got a nice breaker bar in my car.
a car could technically be a weapon of opportunity, plenty of them around, and i'm pretty sure most people have one.
Used one of these once to bash a mugger's temple
I like pipes.
my fleshy rape stick
Is this what you poor brits have been reduced to?

The way to go, imo. Plus you can actually use it to change your tires. Stuff like pipes and bats and tire irons will brain people but won't do much else for you.
Canadafag here. Brass knuckles/concealed weapons illegal here. Carry a locking carabiner with keys and a pen in each pocket. Have used a different pen while carrying in my hand to ward off a dindu by spiking it into its ear. It's yelp distracted it and the other dindu with it and I easily got away.
TLDR a pen jammed in a sensitive area can be effective even without any jewjutsu bullshit

Paul suggested synergistic management solutions.
Some of my pants have a small utility Razor blade sewn in them. It dosent pick up on most metal detectors so in areas with serious restrictions I can still have a edge on a attacker
Inb4 emo or edgey as fuck

Emo and edgy as fuck
I usually have one with me, have three, one was no-cost to me.
It's always part of my farm edc in the tractor etc, and I keep one at home and in the car, and at the computer shop to rip plastic etc off of old computer towers before recycling.
