Strategically, the German loss in WW2 was due to logistics and eventually running out of manpower, right? Would they have beaten Russia if they had had unlimited manpower and could replace losses infinitely?
>could Germany beat Russia if they had unlimited supplies and personal and therefore could never be stopped?
Gee OP, I don't know.

>could x have beaten y if x was literally invincible?
Fuckin Ryuku would have conquered the world with those parameters.

It would have helped if Germany also had limitless weaponry, resources and technology...
>>29552852
Wouldn't you eventually reach the point where you cannot resupply units at all, and you are throwing an infinite amount of unarmed men at machineguns?
>>29553590
Just run up with limitless waves of infantry and smother the enemy.
>>29553597
Exactly.

Not sending your best troops to another front entirely to fight an enemy with limitless logistical capacity probably would have helped
No, before they could defeat Russia, the mass of all the cannonfodder they were creating would cause massive tectonic shifting, and the surface of the earth would be liquified.

>would they win if they had had unlimited manpower and could replace losses infinitely?
A fucking army of Cod kiddies could win under those circumstances
>>29553637
did the russians actually have limitless logistics

Probably not.
Nazis lost the war because they brought America into it by siding with Japan when Pearl Harbor happened. Literally every alternate history fiction story where Germany wins is hinged on the idea that the US never got involved. No D Day, no destruction of German lines, they have time to make nukes and jet engines and then they win.
>>29555369
Nope. They already lost. The Russians were gonna fuck em up.
>nukes
Kek Germany's nuclear program was a failure before it even started. Heavy water is a dead end.
>jet engines
Wouldn't be numerous enough to turn the tide.
Germany was fucked. If America didn't join all that would have happened would be Russia getting even more of Germany, after a more costly war. So they'd probably forcibly depopulate that shit.

Without American support it's not that likely that Russia would have beaten Germany. It's well possible that they would have agreed to peace talks, partitioning Europe amongst themselves. Obviously, sooner or later things would have clashed again, but WW2 may not have been the conflict to decide the outcome.
