in the garbage can, because berettas are trash

the 87 Target still gives me a gigantic boner though
>>
>>29550652
you are trash, asshole.

US army and police officers used berettas for years, because of her quality. not to mention police force from other countries.

so shot yourself, fatass
>>
>>29550708
lol foreigner detected

the US military uses it because it's simple as shit and they've been in armories for thirty years. I guarantee you absolutely no one would ever willingly carry a Beretta in combat if they had an alternative

The '80s/'90s came to an end (along with glorious buddy cop movies). The age of spaghetti is over, now is the time of the glawk.

they look nice but there's a long, long list of handguns I'd rather carry

Not him, but Beretta 96fs is the only gun I've ever sold that I haven't regretted getting rid of at some point later.

How? Design and ergonomics are completely subjective.

I've heard many a owner shit all over the 96. Is it really that bad?
>>
It's because back in the early 90's glock went around to major police departments and not only offered to buy back any officers guns that they traded in for a glock, but they offered to sell their guns at cost, AND offered free training and range time to anyone willing to take their deal.
They took a massive hit in sales at first, but when they had all the major police departments with flocks all others just followed suit. Now a glock is the single most common carry for a cop.
>>
>>29550708
Post your gun no guns faggot
>>
>>29551139
Yes, it really is.
I don't care to ever shoot anything with the Beretta name on it again.
I really tried to like that thing. First gun I ever bought myself.

I don't care much for glocks, but I wish I had let the gunstore asshole talk me into it instead of the beretta like he was trying to.
>>
Well, its more realistic. Cops carry Glocks. Occasionally you'll see a Sig, then berettas, and on rare occasions, if its an affluent town, an HK in their holsters. but most of the time, Glock seems to be the go to for American LEOs. I don't have any hard data to support that, just my observation.

My guess is that eventually Glock will start losing customers as their pistols age and need replacement, to S&W's M&P series. I'm seeing more and more of those lately. They're cheaper, reliable enough, and have better a nicer grip.

as a person who has carried military M9s and owns a 92FS my observations are
>Military M9s are poorly maintained (most officers and senior NCOs get away with poorly cleaning and caring for there weapons and for such reasons they wear faster)
>Early M9 problems come from the fact that originally the SF ie Navy seals were using much higher pressure ammo in there M9s than the rest of the army
>and Magazines were coated on the inside making them prone to binding when sand go inside

TLDR: Modern Berettas with the right ammo and magazines are fine

Berettas are good guns - the problem is that almost every other gun out there is also good, but doesn't get put through the kind of shit the M9 has to survive. Whatever pistol replaces the M9 is also going to be perceived as a piece of shit a decade or two down the road no matter what it is, mark my words.
>>
>>29550652
Seconded
>>
>>29550708
Only because Beretta's price per unit was cheaper than other competitors (Walther among them).

So shut your kiddy ass up

>>
>>29554780
Walther is trash. Like 75% of the video reviews and written reviews I have seen about them have something break during testing, or they malfunction in some other way.

Not to mention I owned a brand new PPQ that broke the second time I took it out to shoot.

I honestly have no idea why people think Walthers are good guns

If it makes you feel any better, Daredevil went from SIGs all over Season 1 (with a very shiny stainless 92FS bad guy appearance) to shitloads of Berettas in season 2.
>>
Outside of duty MPs, pistols are only used for three things in the army

>1: walking around the VBC in peace to get some chow and buy pogy bait & jackoff mags without some fobbit sperging out and yelling "where's ur weapon whargarrble!"
>2: Scaring the shit out of hadjie if he decides to play fuck around games instead of moving his damn toyota
>3 Butterbars and female medics taking it for lanyard leash walks back from the shitter.

The berreta works just fine for all of the above

I think you're full of shit, personally. My 92FS is thus far the comfiest handgun I have fired.

i love beretta, design and semplicity make it a perfect brand.
i love also this little one here, master race of hand gun
>>
US Army still uses them.
I don't hate Beretta's but the exposed barrel impacts reliability.
You can still watch John Woo flicks if you need your Beretta fix.
>>
>>29550708
berreta was never the mainstream police sidearm in the us
it went revolvers -> 3rd gen metal framed smith and wessons ->glock
yeah cops had the option for berretas or sig but it wasnt the default it was more of a military thing.
hell in lethal weapon riggs is considered odd cause hes using a military pistol
movies made it seem like it was the police pistol but that was cause it looked badass so the hero gets one

fun fact: in italy beretta is also a brand of cold cut (affettati) like salame, prosciutto, mortadella and stuff like that.

>yfw you can't eat a pistol

beretta is probably the oldest guns factory still in activity, it started in 1550 or something like that.

if you don't appreciate his products, you're just a piece of huge crap

I think what you mean to say is that it's particular design makes it feed more reliably since it basically operates in a straight line
>>
>>29550784

beautiful gun man, is that an original Inox or a newer one with replaced silver hardware ?
>>

thats because the PPQ sucks, i picked up a P99 AS recently and its and im at the 400 round mark with not one issue.
>>

You're a never-served or you're drunk. Or both. SF and SEALs are different and the SEALs have nothing to do with the "rest of the ARMY"

>it went revolvers -> 3rd gen metal framed smith and wessons ->glock

can confirm. my pops carried a wheel gun late 70s to late 80s, 3rd gen s&w late 80s to late 90s, then switched to glock and carried one until retirement. most departments will let you carry older weapons if you were around when they were an authorized firearm, but new hires only have the choice of carrying a glock. he said the only reason he switched to a glock instead of the dope ass 3rd gen s&w was because it was the only gun he could find with a rail on it for a light.

strangely enough my mom carried the same s&w 357 from when she got hired until she retired.

resident evil gave me the hugest beretta boner but now that im grown, my hands are too fucking small to shoot it comfortably. i swear to god my hands stopped growing at like 10. all the pistols i own are compacts because otherwise theyre too big.

tfw small hands

I thought it was mainly S&W that had that market until glock and sig dominated?

Please stop. If you are projecting gender roles and personalities in your own head to inanimate objects, please stop. It's not a her, it's a gun. It doesn't have a gender and it doesn't have a personality outside of your own mental gymnastics.
