Im working on the waivers for the meetup and will be sending it out soon. Please bring a signed copy with you to the check in table. Ill be riding to the event with my mom and aunt. They will be helping with the setup, registration and security. The important thing to remember is that any guns brought to the meet will be given to a safety officer for storage. My aunt and her state police boyfriend will be providing this service as all as being range officers.
When you want to shoot, just come to the security booth and check out the gun. An range officer wil escort you to the firing line.
Please keep 5 seconds between shots. No rapid fire.
I look forward to meeting you all. I wil be brining smores supplies (marshmellow, gram cracker, chocolate bar) so if you want to bring food to share that’s cool. Maybe weeners or hamborgs.

Yeah several. Cold mountain range is over in Haywood about 40 mins from Asheville, free but small (5 lanes, 100yd). On Target indoor range/shop/smith is 10 minutes outside of Downtown Asheville. And the Asheville pistol and rifle range is nearby as well (massive well maintained range, members only).
Numerous gun stores and pawn shops that handle firearms within a 30 mile range of Asheville. Hell I can count 20 off the top of my head and I know there are more.
For a Libby hotspot, Buncombe county is still a proud southern realm

Until you know why you were denied it could be anything.
Like I said it nothing 99.999% of the time. But always keep in mind 4473 forms are sworn federal statements and if something is wrong you need to man up and find out what.
Now don't flip out, just look into it. This is one reason I try and use competent FFL's. Using the same people all the time builds personal relationships. and that's when people start looking out for you.
