When I finally get an AR or AK, I want it to be a really good one, and I've heard too many horror stories about WASRs being garbage.
I'm 25 and only just recently got my ass in college, and I'm already thinking about taking a semester off so I can work longer and buy one + ammo.

No experience with WASRs, but I hear they're pretty OK these days. Can also buy some stripped AR lowers (or even 80%s, router jig, router) and roll your own AR, piece by piece.
