Not in glorious America where carry rights are being expanded monthly.

Nah, gun rights seem like an exploitable shibboleth for the US government.
>Hmm, Erosion of the right to privacy, right to fair trial, increasingly illiberal policymaking, etc. This seems a lot like a police state!
>"Aha! but if we were really in a police state they'd ban guns to secure their own power!"
>"Oh yeah, we've still got guns. We could totally revolt if we wanted to. Guess we're fine."
And then the imaginary revolt doesn't happen because the people are content with bread and circuses (until they're tortured on accusation of being a terrorist based on their shitposting history.)
>you now realize you never had any rights
>not even the right to remain silent, it can be construed as obstruction of justice
>what rights we have, we are allowed to have
>and we pay more in taxes than medieval peasants
Everything is a lie, or bait, or both
>>29546318
>until they're tortured on accusation of being a terrorist based on their shitposting history
I probably qualify for this
Good.
>>29546318
It's nowhere near that level yet tinfoil.
>importation ban possible
>ammunition import ban possible
>military style ban possible
Outside of that won't change
I say stack 5.56/x39 deep

>tfw collected guns for last ten years
>never bought modern rifles
>missed CHEAP AKs and cheap ammo
>no job
>no means to get an AR or ammo any time soon
I'm worried that I'll never join the club.
>>29546461
u cant pool money for a $560 wasr?
>>29546500
When I finally get an AR or AK, I want it to be a really good one, and I've heard too many horror stories about WASRs being garbage.
I'm 25 and only just recently got my ass in college, and I'm already thinking about taking a semester off so I can work longer and buy one + ammo.
>tfw gun rights will be destroyed in major population centers while continuing to expand in less economically relevant rural/conservative areas (possibly including the entire US if centers of economic and political gravity move to China)
>tfw it won't really matter since policing will be done by microdrones and autonomous Big Dogs invulnerable to small arms fire
It's an abstract kind of feel.
>>29546318
This is very possible if the left doesn't fly up its own asshole in an escalating spiral of holiness-signalling, yes.
>>29546527
No experience with WASRs, but I hear they're pretty OK these days. Can also buy some stripped AR lowers (or even 80%s, router jig, router) and roll your own AR, piece by piece.
>>29546527
New WASRs are good. It's not gucci but for the price, they work just fine. Just a no frills AK type gun.
Student and just want an AK, can't go wrong they are a tremendous value.

I'm leaning more toward an AR, and I like something that's as close to a regular ass A2 as possible, but with a rail up top instead of a permanent rear sight/handle.
>>29546557
Do I have to have two routers
>>29546592
If you're student with a low budget and just want to hedge against a ban, just get like a S&W sport. Name brand like that will be easy to sell if there isn't a ban and you want to upgrade
>>29546623
Thanks for the input.
>>29546601
>,

List items are delimited by commas. Some companies make jigs that are supposed to be used with drill presses, so an 80% lower jig can be a drill press jig or a router jig. I am legitimately not sure whether you're trying to be funny and I'm being autistic or whether you're serious.
I doubt it very seriously OP, prohibition is a dying idea. People are starting to see that banning guns is about as useless as banning drugs, prostitution, or abortions. People will just create a much more dangerous and less regulated black market.

No.

>tfw constitutional carry has been a year away for years..
>>29548887
>mfw it's in committee in Ohio right now
At least they deregulated suppressors. Still need a tax stamp to purchase one, but it's a lot easier to get one now.
>>29548910
We're trying. Constitutional open carry just passed committee, headed to the Senate.
Thank God NFA items are a joke to get here, I love supressors man.
>>29548825
lol vermont - green the whole time.

>Defeatist attitude
Gun rights have been steadily improving in the USA across the country, with only NY and Cali really being the exceptions. Even Canada has made a little bit of progress.
>>29551010
Lol, go back even further in time and you can say that gun rights have been steadily being restricted with a small bump recently
