I am stoked about the Galil ACE I saw Rob Ski handling on Youtube, but some people are doubtful about the May/June release for the .308? 2k is my limit. I also was considering a DPS12 shotgun, but at around $1300 it's kindof steep. Wanted to stick with a caliber I already shoot as I reload (.308, .223, 7.62), but considering anything cool. Is an FN FAL or a PTR 91 even worth having if I have a SCAR and M1A? Am I missing out? Shoot me some ideas.

In practical terms, no, but it doesn't look like you buy guns just for practical uses. FALs are fucking sexy.

I think I have made my purchases with some degree of practicality in mind. Aside from some older collector type pieces, most of these are in commonly found calibers and fairly reliable weapons, nothing special snowflake tier really. I passed up an FAL on backpage recently that was a heavy barrel parts kit build on a Brazilian receiver. It seemed kinda sketchy, so I passed it up. I don't know too much about FALs.

Suggestions? I have a burris AR-536 on the SCAR right now. A lot of my buying has been primarily long guns and magazines for them, as I'm a bit worried about what's possible in the next six to nine months, more election year gun scare shortages etc. I'm actually more inclined to purchase ammunition at the moment than optics. I reload, but I'm considering of stocking up on 3k rounds of each caliber I shoot.

Maybe I'm just not a slavaboo /k/tard enough to get into the nugget memegun? I honestly don't care for the 54r cartridge. To be honest, I'd rather have an SKS, but even then I'd probably throw down the cash on another AK before I buy an SKS let alone a nugget. To be honest, I shoot the WASR and SLR the most out of all of those, with the Garand, M1A and SCAR coming close behind.

Most of my buying has been based on the possibility of a libfuck like Shillary or Berncuck in office in the very near future, or another big pre-election scare. I wanted to secure most of my long guns on the list, as handguns will still be fairly easy to get even after such a scare or magazine/salt weapons ban. Thus why I'm trying to get any and all of the long guns I could realistically acquire prior to such an event.

The only bulpup I'd consider is an AUG. But I hear they are meh to shoot. I hear the SPAS-12 is super over hyped too, but I've yet to shoot one. I was more interested in this DP12 shotgun.

How much different is a 5.45 ak to shoot than a 556? I got my SLR-106 as another AK caliber alternative to 7.62, but I didn't see a reason to add another rifle with an additional caliber to carry.

It's gone, so I think he sold it. I actually bought my SCAR instead, as it popped up on BP at the same time. This was about a month ago, maybe three weeks at most. He described it as an Israeli parts kit on a Brazilian receiver assembled 15 or 20 years ago. He was a military guy supposedly about to be deployed somewhere and he couldn't keep it, didn't fire it much, yadda yadda, asking $1200. I spoke with him briefly over the phone and didn't like too much that he couldn't tell me who had put it together, so I passed.
This other FAL has been on there for months now, but I don't know what this thing is, but also seemed sketchy.
