Picked this up the other day at my local milsurp store talked the guy down to 10 bucks from 30. I was wondering if anyone knew from when this cap was and who it would have been worn by. Also general military surplus thread.

It's just some cheap repro. It has no actual historical value. Still cool though.

Lol
Your cap is a authentic reproduction of the female vulva

Aka a cunt cap

It's a Soviet dress Pilotka from the 80's.
If I'm not mistaken, the wreathed star is only for visor hats, so it probably needs the lone star instead to make it correct. Lots of this stuff was sold with wrong insignia to tourists in the 90s.

It's nothing special, the standard issue cap of the Red Army

French, retired 1918. Widely used in the end of WWI. Nice find.

lol why?

Check it for lice if you think a Russian wore it

They are lousy with parasites

Looks cool but it's wrong everything for anyone who is autistically knowledgeable about Soviet uniform and dress

Worn by Lenin himself.
This is a museum piece, use it as a cum sock.
>>

Yes, the badge is real, the hat is real.
The badge is most commonly 70's era, and the hat is 80s I believe.

Just do some more research on Pilotkas and you'll see some of the dress one from the 80's. Not worth much, but still cool.
>>
>>29540485
Oh okay. I just thought it was pretty cool looking I doubted it was real but still.
>>
>>29540740
So I can just buy a red star and it's right?
>>
>>29537451
The most ugly piece of clothing ever invented. No ideea how anyone could wear that.
>>
>>29537451
Absolutely wrong, but not the worst thing I have seen. Saw a UN beret someone shoved one of those pins on.
>>
>>29540842
It's either the star, or it's this badge in pic related.
