No. Meat has DNA. Steely-eyed forensics investigators will sequence that DNA, then a nerdy Goth chick will check it against a national registry of bull semen. Once they get the paternity nailed down, it's a simple matter to check another database to see who bought samples of frozen bull wad from that particular donor. They'll also know when to look for the transaction because unspecified science will reveal the age of the meat bullet, plus how long it's been toughening. This may involve insect larvae, but only if they're mentioned by their Latin name.
Anyhow, once the rancher is identified, it's a simple matter to hack his records to see where that particular batch of meat was shipped.
