thought about it but really like how the beretta has a rotating barrel, dis/reassembly is bout as easy can be, and call me crazy but i like the safety/de-cocker combo too
I think they're pretty neat. You can easily find them used for less than $500.
I'm not that big on slide mounted safeties but it isn't a dealbreaker.
i want one because of Canaan

gun of my dreams
I just bought the .40 cal "g" version from Bud's for $425.00 Couldnt pass it up, I am intrigued by the rotating barrel, reminds me of my K31 swiss. Anyway, I have about 20 handguns and I have embarked on buying spree of 1 per month (the legal limit in Californistan). My PX is in jail until next month(10 day waiting period + 30 more days for minimum time between DROS (dealer record of sale, registration/background check) so I havent been able to fire it yet but I've read the recoil is signifigantly different/milder than a comparably sized glock. I have a glock 27, and a walther p99 in forty that I will compare it to. Cant wait. Inspection at the dealer revealed a very nice looking, ergonomic quality pistol. Beretta's PX4 seems waaay under rated and and I'm surprised it hasnt caought on....

vary smooth shooting
i've shot the berettas and the grand power and i have to say the rotating barrel does do a good job of alleviating recoil
not sure why there aren't more designs that use it

I've heard a lot of good things about them and very few negative things. Also, PX4 owners seem to really love their guns. They have a unique breech locking system, which adds to pride of ownership.
I don't personally like slide-mounted decocker/safeties.
Considering making this my .40 handgun of choice, due to the rotating barrel. My 9mm is a cz 75. Yes or no?

apparently the .40 px4 has something called "trigger slap?"
I dunno though. check it out before you buy.

The only .40s worth owning are USPs as they were designed around the caliber and Glock 23s as you can get 9mm barrels and shoot both.
